Wouldn't it be nice that to have a special project/banner or method which publicly shows everybody on login the latest cForge or allura updates (like the mandatory license scheme before the artefact gets published publicly?).The current way by making a blog post is a bit obscure, even for me. I have to check via Menu - Activity and scroll down to see view all new events..
So can we think about a "better way" to show cforge updates?
Maybe you have thought of a mechnism allready, as I have seen new clickable messages allready nagging about a license or rather the lack of a license
One part is fixed by the "News Feed", which is in its base a blog. Another thing might be, that we give the users personalized announcements. But the latter is s.th. which will slowly grow in the context of improving the user experience. This is an ongoing topic, and therefore I will close this ticket.
