<div class="markdown_content"><p>Good question.</p> <p>As long as no changes were made and no re-compile of the code you can select no to the download of the code and everything should work fine. </p> <p>If for some reason a change was made and now the compiled files on the PLC are different from the computer and you select no to downloading the code you will find that the address tables generated that allow CoDeSys to access the data from the PLC online and display them on your laptop will not match and you will see strange things on your computer due to this miss-alignment.</p></div>
