    Hello there,

I got a very annoying problem. I am trying to connect a robot (Doosan) to my Revolution Pi Connect (based on RasPi) via Profinet.

Codesys is able to detect the device and it is possible to assign IP Address, Station Name etc to it aswell. Sadly, it is not possible to attach the device to the PN Controller once it is detected.

It reports that it can't read the ID-Number and that i should check the IP - which seems to be correct?!

I also tried to attach the device manually, but this does not work aswell. It reports "16C9A049 - Host Unreachable".

Is there anything I could do? Any help is appreciated.

    All the best

    Hi,
    is the correct gsdml installed?
Could we get the plc logging information?

    Hello eschwellinger,

I am sorry for the late reply. I am out of office until next monday.

There is only one GSDML, so I think it's the correct one. I listened to the transmission with Wireshark, the Doosan device does not seem to reply...

As soon as I am back I will post the PLC logging information.

    All the best

    Hello,

I attached the log of the PN controller aswell as the complete log of the PLC.
It detects the PN device, but then fails...

    Thank you for your help!

    Greetings

Nevermind, a miracle happened, it's working now.

I reset the IP configuration of the RevPi and added the Doosan manually to the PN controller. Then suddenly, I had errors which seemed like timing issues, after increasing the timing of the PN task it started to work...

    Thanks for the patience!
