This library enables the usage of RETAIN data on the Raspberry Pi platform which natively does not support this.
It is based on the mcp7941x RTC chip which also contains 64 bytes Battery Buffered SRAM.

Hello Team Codesys, Nice to meet all you on Codesys forge platform

    Hello everyone ,
I am calling on you because I can no longer compile and register a driver at all, and have it available in a program
    I don't remember the steps anymore ....
when you have the ".library" and "devdesc.xml" files.
as in the posts proposed by other contributors

if you could describe this to me, I would appreciate it very much.
(I spent the day doing trials)

    thank you

which driver do you want to compile a new one or one of these old which are ready for dowload in this thread?

  • phenixrb - 2020-09-08

    HI Edwin,
I want to compile this one :
    https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/8981ce928a/#a6f8

    MCP4728.devdesc.xml [2.38 KiB]

    I2C_MCP4728.library [335.03 KiB]

there are some months I had been able to do for the MCP3208.
but now I am unable to repeat the procedure ....... sorry I forgot all.

just install the MCP4728.devdesc.xml to the device repository
and install the library to the library reporistory.
Add under I2C master the device...

    thanks edwin
I tried to make it complicated ...... by trying to change the path of the file, really sorry.
on the other hand, for the I2C network it is 502 for the type in the xml file, isn't it?
    thanks again

I'm sorry to notice that some of the links in the top post do not work. In Particular i'm searching for the original ArduinoIO Driver by Gerhard Schillhuber.

Can someone please fix the links.

You are right. I also already heavily searched for the correct post, but didn't find it.

The problem seems to be in the linking of the posts. Keeping links between the posts and attachments was the most tricky part, when we migrated the forum.

@eschwellinger do you have the old projects still around? Maybe you can at least upload them?

    hi
I am looking for the arduino i2c driver.
it appears in the list but the link is broken. "http://forum.codesys.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=5872&x=10868&p=10868&lan=en"
is there anywhere to see this i2c drive?
    regards

I am trying to use the PCA9685 board with PWM output. I can only seem to change the voltage never full range of 0V for no PWM, and 5V for full PWM. I can only change Frequency [Hz] the higher the frequency the higher the voltage range, also other parameters do not effect it like _alrMin, _alrMax, _freq, _rPeriod

100hz Frequency = Adafruit_PWM.alrPWM[0] :=0 is 0.468V and 1 is 0.972 output does not appear to actually PWM, higher frequency

400hz Frequency = Adafruit_PWM.alrPWM[0] :=0 is 1.949V and 1 is 3.894 PWM does not go to zero, and closer to 100%

    Program attached.

As most of the posts are moved here around 2015, what would be the right version of codesys to run? Would it be better to install a older version of codesys or should i keep on downgrading libraries?

Is there any work done to update theses libraries?
ItΒ΄s been a few years since the last update in this post, are there new libraries/devices for raspberry being added/posted somewhere else?

    Thanks,

    Martin

    Hi!

I'm still on the hunt for drivers for example TCA9548 and a list or somewhere where all devices for raspberry is gathered. as this post is quite old I'm hoping/gussing that there is somewhere where work after 2021 is gathered?

Or has the raspberry part if the community slowed down on creating device drivers?
