    Hello,
I want to connect my CodeSys with Factory IO but every time when I try to click on "START PLC" at the SysTray, nothing happens. After that I tried to start the "CODESYS Control Win V3 x64" program but after 30 seconds I got the following error message:
    CODESYSControlService.exe: Start Error
One of the following licenses is required:
    CodeMeter 101597:13
Failure reason: CmContainer / WibuKey runtime system is not installed!
    CodeMeterAct 5000304:13
Failure reason: CmContainer / WibuKey runtime system is not installed!

I installed the latest CodeMeter Runtime and the latest WibuKey Runtime but nothing changed.
I reinstalled the whole CodeSys and the runtimes a several times but I got the same issues.
    How can I fix this?

hm.. codemeter is part of the installation of CODESYS
did you disable to install it?

No, I didn't but I downloaded it manually and nothing changed.

you need to drag an drop:
    "c:\Program Files\CODESYS 3.5.16.40\Temp\Patch_ProtectionUpdateFile.WibuCmRaU"
to the codemeter window - left side ( or double click it)
    to have an empty SoftContainer:
    "c:\Program Files\CODESYS 3.5.16.40\Temp\3S-Smart_Software_Solutions_Softlicenses.wbb"
    with the same procedure.
This all does the installation/setup of CODESYS or the Control Win runtime ( if you use a standalone setup from CODESYS store)
So usually not needed to do manually

      Hello,
I can't use the drag and drop method so I tried the double click method and I got this error message:
      Importing CmActLicense failed, Error 101

      Any idea to fix it?

    Finally I fixed this issue.

    Solutions:
I set the CodeMeter folders as expection in the default Windows 10 Antivirus software:
    (C:\Program Files (x86\CodeMeter and C:\Program Files\CodeMeter)
After that I opened the C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder and renamed the "Multikey.sys" file to "Multikey.sys2" (because I can't delete it).
Then I rebooted my system and I delete the "Multikey.sys2" file.
After that I run CodeMeterCC.exe as Administrator and I imported PatchProtectionUpdateFile.WibuCmRaU and SmartSoftwareSolutionsSoftlicenses.wbb (thanks for the help eschwellinger).
    And now it finally works!
