<div class="markdown_content"><p>Hello everyone,<br/> We are using a Siemens PLC S7-1500 to control a manufacturing process. <br/> In order to build a Human Machine Interface to supervise and control this process, we want to use a CODESYS HMI running on a normal PC with Windows.</p> <p>My questions are :<br/> 1- Is it possible to use a CODESYS HMI with a Siemens plc and establish communication between them ?<br/> 2- If yes, what are the components required for this configuration (software or licenses from the CODESYS store, protocols for the communication (Profinet, OPC UA,…), etc) ?</p> <p>Thank you and best regards</p></div>
