It will be a reference, because it's a VAR_IN_OUT. it's a little weird debugging the array online. It just shows as a POINTER TO INT, and you can't actually see the array from the function side. But you can still work with it as a normal array, not a pointer.

so it is not possible for me to use the function blocks and through them I can select the digital outputs of the PLC so that pulses and direction are output, or some function block that does this reading and in it I can program the pulse and direction outputs for the drive?

Hi, Found a nice ramp function in the OSCAT lib (FT_RMP), but is there a nice way to 'set' the output to the current input as form of a reset. The reason for this, is that I want to set up a ramp for a pressure control input that should have x Bar/sec linear rise input. The only option (or code it by hand) I found is this OSCAT FB. Any other options? Just need to increase a value by x Bar/sec from let's say 250Bar (as start) to end 1500Bar. The Oscat ramp will always start at 0 when enable is off (FT_RMP.Rmp := FALSE)

Hello, I couldn't figure what/where the issue was, so I deleted everything from automation server and reinstalled the edge gateway and did the process again. It worked for about a month and then it stopped working again. It presents the same symptom, edge gateway is online but I can't connect to the PLC. Any idea of what could be the issue? Thank you!

Hi Edwin, Thanks for the message. My apologies I should have researched this more thoroughly before posting on here. I found a solution to my issue on this post: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Runtime/thread/6455efaa17/ I needed to run the 'CODESYS Installer' as an Admin, then install the RPi package v4.10.0 in to my package (v3.5 SP19 Patch 5). not sure on which plc you are - there might be the option with: https://forge.codesys.com/drv/sm3raspistepper/home/Home/ but it is more or less Pi restricted and need additional hardware too I guess.

Hi, Mine is the same, both using v3.5 SP17 patch 6, and v3.5 SP19 patch 5 when using anything newer than v4.8.0 the same issue as above occurs. Checked the 'Customize' window in case it was hidden/disabled in there but couldn't find it. Thanks for the help on this. Toby

check if the RaspberryPI Package is installed (CODESYS Installer) If this is the case dd the menu command by 'tools->customize'again
