Ok seems that there is an issue with Codesys on Windows 8 machines. On my Win 10 laptop the Codesys installer is installed in the directory \program files (x86)\CODESYS\APinstaller\ which simply doesn't happen on Windows 8. There is no directory CODESYS in \program files (x86)\ I copied the files from the Windows 10 machines to my Win 8 workstation and after running APinstaller.Gui.exe it reported that it is missing .NET Core. Nice, thanks for the hint. However, the "Codesys Installer" is not installed with V3.5.17.0 nor V3.5.17.10. I did complete fresh installs of both. If i see the solution of problem 1 in https://faq.codesys.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=105152517 it should make an entry in the Start Menu. Sadly i still run on Windows 8 at work thus i do not have a start menu and the application tile does not show any Codesys installer. Can anyone tell to which location/.exe that entry refers?

When i install the custom library, include it in my project and highlight a FB it mentions that the library documentation support package is missing.
