Hello, if you enter %t as a "Text" on a rectangle and do not link a variable in "Text variable", it automatically displays the system time. My question is, where do if find a variable, that contains exactly this time? I tried numerous variants using GetLocalDateTime or GetSysTime but I always have to manage timezones myself (which I do not want to do). I only want a variable with the date an time from my windows system, where the visualization is running. Where can I find this variable?

Hello, this error occured frequently over the past couple of weeks. I found out, when adding a webvisu, CODESYS added Visu libraries in the library manager. One of the libraries was the "VisuElemsAlarm" library. In my case it added this one with the version 4.3.0.0. However another library that also contained the "VisuElemsAlarm", used the "VisuElemsAlarm" with the version "4.4.0.0". After changing the Version "4.4.0.0" and uninstalling this version, the error has not occured anymore. Regards, c...

Hi, I am using CODESYS 3.5.18.30 with the Visualization Profile 4.1.1.0. I have added a frame with a visualization and want to edit the text on the frame (not inside the frame, because I want to use the global text list for multiple languages). When I insert a Text, it is being displayed just like I expected it to do. Once I go online, it disappears. Is this a normal behavior of frames, or are there any settings, with which I can always display the text? Regards, carohe

Hi, is there a way to edit a global variable in a library? Let's say we have a GVL called GlobalVars, which is part of a library, and it has the constant variable gc_uiMaxNumber. The variable gc_uiMaxNumber is initialized with the value "64". Now I would like to have the possibility to set the variable gc_uiMaxNumber to 100, then compile it, download it and start the program. I think it used to work with parameter lists, but that does not exist anymore. Is there a different way of achieving that?...

Hi Julian, I am sorry I don't. It does not happen very often. When I ignore it, it works fine, and the next time when I download it, it does not occur anymore. But since other colleagues have asked me about it too, I wanted to ask here, if that is a known issue? If it happens again to me, I can give you the project. Regards, carohe

Hi, when downloading an HMI project, I sometimes get this message: I am working with CODESYS 3.5.18.20 and 3.5.18.30. Is this a known error? Regards, carohe

Hi Julian, thank you for your answer. I have tried it both ways and only the way with the 3.5.18.30 and Addon 4.1.1.0 worked. Going back to 3.5.18.20 with Addon 4.1.0.0 still brought me the error. But updating to Addon 4.1.1.0 works for me! Regards, carohe

Hi Julian, thank you for creating the improvement. Your suggestion with the workaround sounds good, but I also wanted to use the padding in a table. So I won't be able to use the workaround there. But on the rectangles I will use your workaround. Thank you again for your help! Regards, carohe

Hi Julian, thank you very much, this works, but it only works on the side of the alignment. So there is no way to have it on both sides? Regards, carohe

Hi Julian, thank you very much, this works now! It is a bit sad that it only works when the alignment is not centered, but at least it works with left/right aligment. Regards, carohe

Hi, thank you very much! I have tried several options, but nothing worked. I feel like I am missing the information how to link the entry in the style editor with the actual element. I am trying to understand how the style editor works and how these elements are linked but I haven't understood it yet. Regards, carohe

Hi Julian, I have tried what you wrote, but it does not change anything. I am using the Visualization Version 4.2.0.0. I also do not understand how a textfield or rectangle would know where to use this entry. Regards, carohe

Hi Julian, thank you very much for you answer! Do you mean edit the style in the style editor of the visualization manager? Do you have a manual or tutorial how to edit styles? I have already tried to edit something there but I do not know how to work with the style editor, so a manual or tutorial would be very helpful. Regards, carohe

Hi, I am currently working on a visualization project with CODESYS 3.5.18.30. How can I change the font size of the headline in a table? I cannot use the property "Font" in "Text properties" due to this error: https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/Visualization/thread/bf2b51cd68/#a778 I am trying to use the property "Size" in "Font Variables", which should also work. No matter what I insert there, the font size of the headline always stays the same. I have also tried to change it using the template...

Hi, I am currently working on a visualization project in CODESYS 3.5.18.30. Is there a way to set a padding in a rectangle, so when the text's horizontal alignment is set to "left", the text doesn't start at the left edge of the rectangle but a specific amount of points right of the edge? Regards, carohe
