    CODESYS v3.5 SP17 Patch 1 + (64bit) CODESYS Safety for EtherCAT Safety Module v4.2.0.0

I entered an always ON bit for the RUN/STOP on the safety properties and this cleared the issue; however a new one has occurred. The safety POU displays ???? on every variable and says the safety is unknown, despite the fact that the logic seems to be running. Any solutions?

Hello i recently swapped out the EL6900 for the EL6910 in order to use the analog function blocks. I updated my device, but when I go to download the safety program I enter the credentials and then receive an error message (attached). Does anyone know what this is referring to and how to remedy it?

Hello, I am trying to use a Keyence GS-71PC guard door lock with my EL1904 Safety input card. From what I understand, I need to set the Sensor Test parameter to False for self checking devices. The only place I see the Sensor Test parameter is in CoE Online, and it is Write Protected (RO). Is there some specific way to change the value from True to False, or do I need to look somewhere else for the solution?

Hello, We seemed to fix the issue by copying the cmpCXSecUPS.sys file to C:\windows\System32\drivers and ran the cmpCXSecUPS.reg file. After a restart the system no longer errors, and the values are retained. Perhaps this is an installer bug.

I can confirm my persistent variables are lost on power failure though.

Hello, I went into test mode via the method you mentioned. I went to C:\Program Files\CODESYS\CODESYS Control RTE3\CmpCXSecUPS and double clicked CmpCXSecUPS.reg to add it to the registry. There doesn't seem to be any change compared to before.

Here is the .cfg. I see that the component exists there, but maybe there is some detail missing?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. I got the CmpCXSecUPS to show up in the configuration, and when I select it from the drop-down I see the checkbox get checked; however, I see in the diagnosis that the component fails to load.

I recently installed CODESYS Softmotion RTE V3 for a Beckhoff CX5140. During the installation process, I noticed there was not an option to select between NVRAM or UPS like older versions. Now when I go to select/type in the component CmpCXSecUPS it will not install the driver, and as a result my persistent variable are not retained on power loss. Am I missing something about this process?

I think I resolved the issue. I needed to update the TwinCAT PnP driver to CmpCX5000.

I can confirm it is in the directory: C:\Program Files\CODESYS\CODESYS Control RTE3 What if the CmpCX5000 doesn't appear in the PLC Configuration? Do I need to update my drivers with CmpCX5000 instead of CmpEt1000Drv?

Hello, By unchecking the button I can now see the device, but it is greyed out. I am currently using "CODESYS Control RTE V3 Version 3.5.17.10" according to the "About" tab on the tray icon menu, and CODESYS Softmotion RTE CX x64 3.5.17.10 is the device in the developer. Do you see some error here?

Hello, I am trying to use Codesys RTE CX 3.5.17.10 on a Beckhoff CX5140. Though it is claimed that Windows 10 is supported, the windows driver would not update to use the CmpEt1000Drv. I tried to manually update the drivers to this but after doing so, the Beckhoff could ping back and forth to the developer computer, but the device would not be scanned. Is there something different about the CX drivers for Windows 10 x64 that I am missing?
