I realize the greater issue is i'm not seeing the CFC context menu at all in any open project. I resolved this by doing a complete removal and reinstallation of the codesys package, that solved my above question.

So I can read that CTRL + U should reset FB Pins in the CFC editor. Or that I should be able to find a pins menu with the reset option yet I try both and have no luck with CTRL U or can't find this pins menu. help?
