Mine is a Raspberri Pi "device". I have however also tried control Win, IOT2050 (Linux), and exor eSmart07 (linux) all with the same errors. I did the same thing successfully with a Pi 2-3 years ago. Profinet master (controller) functions fine.
I have the exact same problem. Did anyone come forward with an answer to this? My version is 3.5.19 with all updates installed as of this posting. I have added the following to my "CODESYSConfig" file: [SysEthernet] QDISC_BYPASS=1 Linux.ProtocolFilter=3 [SysSocket] Adapter.0.Name="eth0" Adapter.0.EnableSetIpAndMask=1 to no success. I have attached my log file from the Profinet device.
I was searching here and found that Edwin had left a link to a different version of pcap. I downloaded and installed and this is my new log file. Still no PN device however.
Can someone tell me if the PN IO device mode works on any Codesys runtime? So far I have tried Pi, Linux ARM on a iot2050, IOT2040 runtime, Exor eX707 and now Control win V3. I am attempting to connect them as a slave to an S7-1200 CPU. So far I havnt even the slightest glimmer of hope that it will work. My latest attempt is Control Win V3. Codesys version is 3.5.19. Win10pcap is installed. Below is the log file from the "Codesys Profinet Device". I am totally at wits end here on this but REALLY...
Just as a follow up I decided to try with my Exor ESmart panel. As you can see here, I have the exact same issue with the Exor as I do with the Windows PC. Version on the Exor is 3.5.16.30. EDIT: I finally got a clue. I had an error box that my Profinet stack was not running. All I could come up with in help was this: https://help.codesys.com/webapp/_pnio_runtime_configuration_device;product=core_ProfinetIO_Configuration_Editor;version=3.5.16.0 . Unfortunately to me these instructions are "cryptic"...

Im running a PC with Codesys Control V3. I have used version 3.17.0 and 3.19.0. For some reason I cannot get Profinet to work as either a controller (not shown in attachment) or as a device (shown in the attachment). My only clue is the Profinet_IOTask not running. I have absolutely nothing else to go on. It does not run either as controller or device. I did the export of the proper GSDML files with each version I tested as a device. Im trying to run it as a device under the Siemens processor (what...
Thanks for the help and the link. I did this and went to ....\Codesys control RTE\CmpEt1000 (and 100) MPD. It showed me no compatible drivers. The Ethernet device I have is an Intel I211 Gigabit...... Does this mean my hardware is not compatible with RTE? What adaptors are compatible with RTE? If I read the directories properly there is the Intel 1000 / 100 and 2 Realtech ethernet adaptors. Is this correct? If all of this is correct, will the standard "Control Win (non-RTE)" run ok or do I have a...

I have a windows 10 panel pc running "CODESYS Control RTE". Currently I am using version 3.5.17 of the engineering software and runtime. I also go "advanced" when I select my devices and use 3.5.17. I am trying to setup as a Profinet device. I have the "Ethernet device" followed by "CODESYS Profinet device" and reserved an InOut_64_Byte. The ethernet device alone works fine. As soon as I add the Profinet device however I get all of the "unresolved references" in the attached screenshot and my upload...

Greetings, In my Modbus Slave/Modbus Slave Channel, I have all of my channels set to "cyclic" read/write. With this I keep getting bus errors "Response timeout". It is not on every request though. My request counter != my error counter. All of my channels are set to "Cyclic (now) 1000 mS and I still get this. I have done values from 10 to 1000mS here and have the same problem. My question is thus. Do the channels all try to read at once in this setting, or are they supposed to increment through the...
