Hi,

A suggestion, at this moment every Home of each individual is static and its contents is dependant on what the admin dictates.
Therefore, is it technically possible for the user to individualise his/her Home?

    Sadly not. We are relying on the features, provided by the underlying framework, named Allura.

    I reopend this issue, as I was focusing on the dashboard too much (which I found was a great addition at that time). But maybe we should collect which kind of "widgets" or which Kind of information you would expect.

    Because I want to make more use of the users "privat project" , which is part of the profile. If you think about that like the private channels on youtube, it starts to make sense that everyone publishes repos, blog posts or wiki pages on this channel.

    And an addition may be that you place special tags on one of your private wikis, which collects the informations, that you want to see.

    What do you think?
    And may you be more precise about the information you want to see?

      Widgets would be nice yes, especially if I can drag them arround and "customize" my own welcomepage i.e. order of widgets, size of, placement, different type of widgets like (just some brainstorm ideas);

      a my projects widget,
      an activity widget,
      a forum widget (if a global forum gets integrated sometimes soon)

      a widget of the project/web traffic statistics,
      Maybe even a 'configuration widget' to alter the default skin i.e.: colorpalette, fonttype, fontsize, wallpaper etc, etc.

      a 'cForge' widget which tightly integrates this website with the cForge tools so it merges the offline/online experience on local pc and platform tightly together,

      an Automation Server widget (lol, i have not seen automation server yet apart from youtube/website)

      It would be a big plus these widgets are based on a universal/portable technology, so you do not have to reinvent the wheel continously. This way one could use Widgets from an app-store together with selfmade customised widgets.

    OK, thanks for the brainstorming. That's actually very helpful.

    When I try to join from the other side. I try to modify as few as possible. Then I could imagine, that we integrate all information on the existing dashboard, but give you the ability to hide the information. Then you can decide which information you want to see.

    1) my projects widget => already on the dashboard
    2) activity widget => already on the dashboard
    3) forum widget => is currently integrated in the list of tickets
    4) widget of the project/web traffic statistics => could be added

    5) Maybe even a 'configuration widget' to alter the default skin i.e.: colorpalette, fonttype, fontsize, wallpaper etc, etc.
    => Nice to have, right!? ;)

    6) 'cForge' widget which tightly integrates this website with the cForge tools so it merges the offline/online experience on local pc and platform tightly together,
    => Which data would you expect there? I tried to bind it a bit with the links in the project list.

    7) an Automation Server widget (lol, i have not seen automation server yet apart from youtube/website)
    => future... ;)

    Hi I found a fitting example of what I am hoping the Allura platform can provide (more or less). See this as inspiration

    Nice touch! This menu seems new to me, or haven't I not been paying attention?

    Hi, It seems the layout has changed again. I'd love to see the "menu" next to the table instead of obove the table like it is presented to me now;

    Hope this helps as the former view (next to each other) was more appealing to me.

    It should not have changed. I guess, that your screen is now smaller (right?).

    Currently the layout is optimized for large or mobile screens. S.th. in the middle is difficult to manage at the moment. But better support for mobile layouts is on the roadmap of Allura. So hoping the best ;)
