CoDeSys Gateway - is there a new or updated version available that:

1) Installs itself into the correct location on a system. i.e. in "Program Files" and not in the windows directory. This has been the correct location for applications since Windows 95, which is only 15 years ago.

2) Writes data files into the correct location on a system. i.e. in "Documents and Settings" (2k, XP) or "ProgramData" (Vista onwards). This has only been the correct location for applications writing data since a similar time, or at worst since 2000, i.e. 10 years.

There are severe security and installation problems in not adhering to the Microsoft standards, especially on later operating systems or systems that have been even partly secured against running everything as "Administrator"

Edit: Oops, forgot to mention the version I'm currently attempting to work with: v2.3.9.4
