I need to connect to an Epec controller with CAn interface (I have Kvaser USB-CAn adapter installed in my PC) but I cannot find the way to set can interface into communication settings..
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
You normally connect to the 6200 via Ethernet 1, not via CANbus*. Out of the box it has IP address 192.168.0.2.
See section "Getting started" -> "Going online and downloading application" of Epec Programming and Libraries Manual, and "Programming" -> "Programming 6000/X Series Units" -> "Configuration" -> "Configuring Ethernet and DNS Settings".
If it is already programmed, you can use CANmoon to connect to it.
*I think you could use also the CAN gateway, but it is slower than Ethernet: you can find instructions again in "Going online and downloading application".

Hi fleaplc, could you please share which Epec device you are using?
