Can't use Simulation Mode - Ethernet/IP Error in 3.5.11.0

I can't get simulation mode to work when I have an Ethernet/IP scanner added to my devices. See below for the error.

[ERROR]         cip object, 3.5.11.0 (3s - smart software solutions gmbh): Get_Attribute_Single [TCPIP_Interface]: C0418:  String variable 'szHostName' too short for the VAR_IN_OUT parameter '_sHostName' of 'SysSockGetHostName'
                Compile complete -- 1 errors, 0 warnings
                Build complete -- 1 errors, 0 warnings : no download possible!

It works fine when downloading to an actual Codesys Runtime.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
