Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to find any intel on how to create such function files nor how to link them to a g-code command. Does anyone know how to make it and/or could share some relevant references?
I am using CodeSys v3.5 SP16 Patch 4 and a plc from Festo cpx-e-cec-m1.

I am developing a cartesian-like robot which will follow a certain pattern by the means of a g-code. While in motion, I want to use H functions to switch ON and OFF some devices and M functions to initiate processes as described in the following link:
