I have a master device trying to read data from Codesys project, it is limited to slave ID's from 1 to 254 so I cannot set the ID to 0 or 255 for broadcast.
Is there any other options available to set a different ID?
I had hopped I could activate the serial gateway on the Modbus TCP Master device, setting it to a port, then adding a Modbus RTU Com port for the same port, then adding a Modbus RTU slave with a Unit ID, but this doesnt seem to work either - the slave device doesnt report any errors but the bus reports its not running.
