It is great that you have given the option to select a dark theme for the text editor.
Developing in ST for those with vision problems like me is much more relaxing.
However, it would be nice to have this possibility also in the view panels, in those of cross_reference, in that of devices and in that of POUs.
The strong contrast using the dark editor and the rest light is very blinding for someone who spends 10-14 hours a day developing.

    Hello mondinmr,
I have commented on an existing Improvement request, that you also would like this improvement - Dark theme toggle for the entire IDE.
Today it is only ST and CFC which have these nice colours.

For your other issue, I have seen this one before, and it has been solved already with the European Working Time Directive. If you are in the EU, it is not possible to consistantly work more than 9.6 hour days.

But eye problems with screens is no joke. Make sure you have diffuse lighting in your work area so your screen isn't the brightest thing in the room. Make sure the sun from the windows neither comes from behind your screen (so you are looking directly at it) or from behind you (so it bounces off your screen). You want your sunny window to be ideally 90Β° - coming straight from your left or straight from your right. I have found that sending my glasses prescription to some online glasses retailer which advertises blue light filter glasses has helped also. I used Barner, but I am sure even your regular glasses retailer could add a 'computer' blue light filter. The last tip would be to enforce regular [coffee] breaks.

You may also try this https://zerowidthjoiner.net/negativescreen.
It alters the monitor uising methods buildt on the MS Win Magnifier tools.
I did not find the text as crisp as I wanted, but that can be my eyes or lack of tweaking.
