My company has a working smtp server which I have tested out using the SocketLabs console. This has confirmed that I have the correct server address and details (no username or password, port 25). I have downloaded and run the Mail Service Example program from the Codesys store and have had it send messages once. Despite all my settings being the same within the program, I cannot get email messages to send again.
I have used WireShark to capture packets and can confirm that no SMTP packets are sent when I try and send an email. The error message is 5001 (server timed out). I am deploying to the Codesys Control Win tray PLC. When I run the example, I have updated all versions to the newest. I have also had to change the target from Win3 64 bit to Win3 32bit. I complete the To, From, Subject and body fields. As stated above, I have successfully sent messages once! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Mail Service package too, still getting the same error.
I am not sure what to do next to try and debug this issue, any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Ray
