I see forge examples for 1734 IO line, I've tried the EDS files for the 1794 series but no luck. AB manuals don't provide much information as to how to integrate to it and I'm wondering if this is a dead end road.

From my cross posting on other forums I was provided with this link to an RA technote where they said probably not going to work.

It might be possible, Try asking on http://www.plctalk.net/
There are experienced engineers that deal with Rockwell and Codesys on there.
If you do get a solution please post it back here for others.
