Hello everyone,
I am looking to write directly the number of bytes from the codesys application to the device assembly at runtime. As a result this will dynamically reconfigure the device assembly, e.g from 20bytes to 8bytes, whilst the device is running.
The picture below shows the current assembly and device tree.
Likewise it would be great if I could write variables to the ethernet/IP I/O mapping from the editor in my application. For example, if my assembly changes from 20 bytes to 8 bytes at runtime, I could write 8 input and output variables to the mapping I/O mapping from the logic in my application. This would allow me to find and access the specific I/O bytes.
Any help is much appreciated,
Thank you for your time.
