I modified your example a little bit so it will work with J1939 ECU devices in the device tree.
Now it is possible to disable the J1939 ECU and it stops sending CAN messages.
But when I want to enable it again, device in the device tree becomes active (not grayed out anymore) but it doesn't send data.
The state of the J1939 ECU device stays disabled, does anyone have experience with enable/disable J1939 ECU devices.
The 1939 ECU device is marked as local device.
