I have code written since version 3.5.16 to access the USB drive, how can I do that now the file access has been taken away? I have tried adding a sybolic link to the usb drive in the following directories: /var/opt/codesys/PlcLogic/ /var/opt/CODESYS/PlcLogic/ /opt/CODESYS/PlcLogic/ I still recieve a "FILE_OPERATION_DENIED" response when accessing the USB drive.

I had no problem installing codesys runtime, and running program on device. But when it comes to GPIO access, It couldn’t make it.

It will be a reference, because it's a VAR_IN_OUT. it's a little weird debugging the array online. It just shows as a POINTER TO INT, and you can't actually see the array from the function side. But you can still work with it as a normal array, not a pointer.

Looking to access a variable at runtime that indicates a user is online to the code. essentially want to use this value to feedback to the user on the HMI. we use turck and bosch rexroth devices if this information helps. I was hoping there was a variable at the application level, or a library that could be used but I was unable to find anything. I know there's a pop up when you try to login/ go online to the code when a user is already logged in, so the system does provide an indication that it knows already online, but has no access to a value from what I can see. Any help is appreciated

Not knowing exactly what you want to accomplish, you can try to use VAR_INPUT MyVar: POINTER TO BOOL; END_VAR MyVar contains the address of your referenced variable, and MyVar^ dereferences it allowing you to access the value. If this doesn't meet your needs, could you add more detail on what you are trying to accomplish?

I am trying to access Raspberry pi on CoDeSys, but it throws an error says, "No connection to target: An established connection was aborted by the server." I am able to access Raspberry pi via MobXterm, but on CoDeSys, it throws error. Looking for help in resolving this error. Error snap is attached. IP address is scanned here successfully, but when I am trying to install Raspberry pi packet: 4.0.0.0, it throws this error.

Hey all CODESYS-experts. I'm at a customer site, and we hade a power-failure and one of the devices apparently runs codesys and has crashed. It's an old device (out of warranty) that is bought many years ago. Now this device doesn't seem to boot. Any idea what to do in this case? We have access to the drive so we have access to the files. I am trying to push changes to a GitHub repository. I set up the Git Remote with the correct URL and committed the change. When I push the change it asks for my GitHub credentials which I know are correct, when I type in my username and password it gives me an error: "The provided credentials seem incorrect." So I tried putting in my Person Access token and when I put that in with my username I get this error: "The server request failed and returned a HTTP error code 403: Forbidden". Does anyone know how to correctly use Personal Access Tokens from GitHub with Codesys Git? Does it have to do something with the remote url or my username? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

I have read through the forums here and I am unable to find how to get the barcode data to populate in a text field without having to first click into the text field to activate it. Is there a library that allows you to access the barcode data? I am really new to this in general any help is greatly appreciated, hopefully you have a pretty clear example

I have the directory right here: I need to correctly access the files in this folder through CODESYSControl.cfg. Here is my CODESYSControl.cfg where on the first lines there are a few lines: [SysFile] FilePath.1=/etc/, 3S.dat PlcLogicPrefix=1 That means that if I am going to use relative paths its going to go to from the PLCLogic directory right ? If you want to use the Test Manager, I prefer to start all the tests through the scripts of this manager. So open from there the projects, load it and run it. If you also want to use Python scripts to access CODESYS functionality, while executing a Test Manager script, then also start them from the Test Manager commands.

However, we managed to find a solution by downgrading both the "CODESYS Communication" and "CODESYS Recipes" components via the CODESYS Installer, accessible under the "Tools" section.
