Hallo, I have a strange problem with the recipe manager. ISSUE: When using RecipeManCommands not all values are loaded correctly. Saving a recipe with CreateRecipe(), ReadAndSaveRecipe() or ReadAndSaveRecipeAs() works without any problems. BUT: LoadRecipe(), WriteRecipe() or LoadFromAndWriteRecipe() do not load the data correctly. It is Interesting that we have a different error pattern with LoadRecipe() than with WriteRecipe() or LoadFromAndWriteRecipe(). LoadRecipe() does not load all data and WriteRecipe() or LoadFromAndWriteRecipe() overwrites some data or assigns it incorrectly. And it is also strange that LoadRecipe() writes the values to the PLC. Normally it doesn’t do it. It makes no difference whether the memory type is textual or binary. I have an object consisting of STRUCTs which is inserted in the recipe definition. Environment: Codesys V3.5 SP19 Patch 4 (64Bit), Recipe Management 4.2.0.0 *Add a project (reduced to the problem)

Hello, I'm working on setup a CAM table by using the Codesys CAM Editor. My purpouse is to obtain a quadratic velocity ramp with jerk limitation motion profile, for which i define the accel/decel phases with Poly5 segment type, but the problem is that due to the fact i can "only" adjust until the acceleration, and the jerk is always setup to 0, and i cannot change the jerk values, i cannot achieve the desired results, as i need to generate jerk steps. Is there any way it can be achieved with the editor, or maybe by using PLC runtime code? Thank you in advance for your help BR, Jordi Morito

Dear all, does anyone have experience with HTML5 controls recently? CODESYS 3.5.20.30 / Visualization 4.6.0.0 I'd like to create a simple lightweight text editor, with proper multiline handling, cut & paste, scrolling, etc. And it seems to work fine, just have problems with strings longer than 80 bytes.... Declaring a variable sText1 : STRING(8000) and referencing it in the HTML5 Controls corresponding value property works perfectly one way: the code receive the data as a string (See log1)... (Note TypeID 1000...) Also sending back the data (seems to work (See log2) except it doesn't change the value of the bound variable. Probably the issue is with using SendSimpleValue method... Naturally, I could do a workaround, but maybe there is a more standard way to implement this... Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

This is a phenomenon that I have seen myself and with others. Texas instruments wrote an application note with this same issue. They noted with Codesys 3.5.19.10, that selecting CPU 1 as the EtherCAT task showed CPU spiking improvements over the performance of cores 0, 2, and 3. It appears to be linked to EtherCAT, are you configuring for use with distributed clocks? If so, I recommend choosing the 'Based on Input Reference' option. I am trying to have these set to change the visualization to a specific screen which I have designed 8 of. I currently have "use CurrentVisu" enabled in the visualization manager. I also have input blocks with all of the buttons being directed to output blocks which I want to have as the switcher for the visualization. Picture is attached for what I have currently. This could be the wrong approach to this issue. Any help is much appreciated.

Hello, CODESYS Control is running on my RevPi, and my system communicates over a CANbus with a master using the ConnectCan module (Slave - CANopen Device). The communication works perfectly fine so far. However, as soon as I call a Python script with "SysProcessExecuteCommand2" that creates a CSV file and executes without errors, the master does not adopt any changes to the Transmission Process Data Objects (TPDOs). I don't quite understand what one has to do with the other, and perhaps someone can help me with this. Here is my script call: SysProcess.SysProcessExecuteCommand2(pszCommand:='python /home/pi/test.py', pszStdOut:=sCMDOutput, udiStdOutLen:= SIZEOF(sCMDOutput), pResult := ADR(eResult)); Thank you in advance! Hi Dear All, I'm using my raspberry PI4 as a CoDeSyS PLC (Build from scratch with custom electronics). I was able to implement all fieldbuses with the exception of Modbus Serial. I'm using the internal Port (GPIO) and I configured it in /etc/Codesyscontrol_user.cfg the following away: [SysCom] Linux.Devicefile.1=/dev/ttyUSB0 Linux.Devicefile.2=/dev/ttyS0 I'm using COM2 on Master configuration. I'm using a interface board from TTL/RS485 (bidirectional board), and it's works perfectly with other devices but not in CoDeSyS. I'm able to send data with python script and read it on my pc using putty, but when I use a modbus slave simulator to interface with codesys I always get red icons on master and slave. (Please find image attached). I'm pretty shure that this might be a bad parameter on my CoDeSyS runtime configurstion file. Can someone help me? I'm stuck and this is for my master degree certification.

You need to create an array with one element for each possible user. I usually define these arrays in the root screen. FrameIndex : Array [0..MaxUsers] OF INT; Then use the global CurrentClientId (defined by one of the VISU libraries) to index the array element used to select the frame. FrameIndex[CurrentClientId]

I implemented the parts from the CAA Device Diagnosis Example.project and could use it for switching on and off, the CAN devices that were located under the CANbus and CANopen_Manager. But i can't do the same with I2C_master_test_version or devices below this one. In the example project there is only the EtherCAT Master, CANbus and CANopen_Manager, and Ethernet with devices below.

It seems that there is a limitation with the STRUCTs. Does anybody know, what’s okay to save (add to the recipe) and what’s not okay? Or is there another problem with my project? If I have only an array in the recipe definition everything works perfectly (see project).

The string_Util_Intern is not the library I referred to. With a CONCAT function (also with the string util library) a search is done for the NULL character. If you concatenate 20000 characters to one string, then the longer the string, the longer it takes to find this NULL character.

Hi, I got good results with SMC_NCDecoder, SMC_CheckVelocities, etc. in a freewheeling task with lower priority (higher number). Still takes some time but I'm using many variables and loops in my g-code and more preprocessing like SMC_SmoothPath, SMC_LimitDynamics, SMC_CheckForLimits. PS: your buffer size seems a bit high for 34 lines of g-code

Hi I try to get korean texts out of a textlist. For that I want to use DynamicTextGetTextW, but I am a little confused how it is supposed to work. The function returns POINTER TO STRING, but how do I get WSTRING? I succesfully used DynamicTextGetText with classical Strings. Thanks in advance!
