Hi, i have a similar problem. im using pfc200 4.5.0.0. There are two softcontainer and only one with license in it. every 1-2 hrs it will auto logoff. i tried the steps above but i dont find the /var/opt/codesys/.cmact_licenses i need help please.

Solved: I started from a fresh project and everything worked. I had a Function Block in the project at one point and deleted it. I think Codesys doesn't fully clean up on deletes.

I had the FB called via a for loop to call a few instances of my FB I have removed it the for loop and just called them 1 by 1. Hi, I am looking for exactly the same thing. I would think that using a layer 2/3 managed switch should work but I am not convinced. I would like to test it in order to see if it would be possible to run many Codesys Docker instances on a server and run only 1 ethernet cable from the server to a managed switch closer to the machines beeing controlled instead of having to run multiple long ethernet cables. I was going to buy a managed switch in order to test it but I want to first make sure it is possible and I want to figure out exactly what kind of switch I would need. Is this even possible? I think this is a feature that would be very useful paired with "Codesys Virtual Control SL". Thank you

Hello, I am working on an application where I need to remap PDOs to a different CANopen object during runtime depending on what value is at a specific register. I have gotten to the point where I put the device into Preoperational State using the CIA405.NMT function. I then reconfigure the PDO 180x and 1a0x obejcts usings SDOs to point to a new canopen object on the device however when I go to restart the Device from PREOP to OP using the CIA405.NMT function the device is reset back to the original configuration as per the initial setup. I am wondering is there any way to change the PDOs at runtime is there some more functionaility I can access to do this. Any direction is appreciated!

I try to add a simple text file to my PLC application, so that is download everytime the application is downloaded to the target. What I did is to add an external file to the application and this works perfect as long as the external file location does not change. It looks like the external file path is stored absolute in project. But if different users work on the project they may have different locations where for their working directory. Is there an option to store the external file path relative e.g. to the project file? Or does s.o. know a different solution to add a text file to application in order to download automatically with the application? Thanks

Hello all, I am extremely new to Codesys and to programming with these languages in general. I have an HMI panel with 8 physical buttons to the right side of it. I am trying to have these set to change the visualization to a specific screen which I have designed 8 of. I currently have "use CurrentVisu" enabled in the visualization manager. I also have input blocks with all of the buttons being directed to output blocks which I want to have as the switcher for the visualization. Picture is attached for what I have currently. This could be the wrong approach to this issue. Any help is much appreciated.

Looking to access a variable at runtime that indicates a user is online to the code. essentially want to use this value to feedback to the user on the HMI. we use turck and bosch rexroth devices if this information helps. I was hoping there was a variable at the application level, or a library that could be used but I was unable to find anything. I know there's a pop up when you try to login/ go online to the code when a user is already logged in, so the system does provide an indication that it knows already online, but has no access to a value from what I can see. Any help is appreciated

Hello everyone, I have a web visualization on Codesys and to be able to use the web visualization first an user and a password is requested. After the user logged in, I want to automatically change the visualization to the 'Home' visualization but I am not sure how to do this. In the login visualization I basically have a button with the input configuration to execute the action 'Login' after a click. Once the user is logged in, the visualization is still stuck in the login page and I want to automatically change to Home visualization if the user was succesfully logged in. How can I know the number of web visualization clients connected to my PLC? Thanks in advance

Hi all, I've played a bit with the VisuUserManagement library, and some other security option in my project, and I started getting this error when logging in - see attached pic. something to do with a specific screen in the library - VUM_Login. Also, Codesys started to ask me to log in to the library when logging in, asking to log in as user of the groups Maintainer or Owner, which I dont know either users (attached pic). when I close the login screen and try to log in to the PLC again, everything works again until I close and open Codesys. I do use user and password to login to the PLC, and this login screen is fine I know the user and pass I setup. anyone know what did I do wrong here and how to fix it?

For example; When the method in the link is called, let's say the defined string length is 19. VarAccGetAddress does not return the correct address for TYPE_ARRAY or TYPE_USERDEF. When you use VarAccGetNode, it returns a proper IBaseTreeNode if you provide the full path of an array element or structure element, and it even provides the correct data type. The problem is that with TYPE_ARRAY, it returns the start address of the array rather than the indexed element. With TYPE_USERDEF, it only returns the offset of the element instead of the actual address. This causes many issues with nested structures or arrays of structures, since it requires manually calculating the address based on the parent IBaseTreeNode. See attached image and example.

Hallo, ich würde gerne die Variablen, die ich mit Ethernet/IP übertrage gerne in meinem Programm möglichst einfach ansprechen. Ist es möglich die übertragenen Variablen über ein Array direkt anzusprechen? Ich kann zwar die Variablen alle händisch benennen und dann im Programm auf diese zugreifen, aber wenn es viele Variablen sind und ich diese alle der Reihe nach in einer Schleife durchgehen möchte, so ist das schon viel Code der dafür notwendig ist. Bei mir werden die Variablen in Codesys unter dem Ordner (kann man aufklappen) 'Exclusive Owner' angezeigt. Da klingt es doch naheliegend, dass man direkt über den Ordnernamen die Variablen per Indexierung oder ähnliches ansprechen kann. vielen Dank und viele Grüße enginear
