Hello, I'm currently working on transferring a project I recently created on Studio 5000 to CODESYS and unfortunately CODESYS isn't compatible with AOI's so I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me transfer these L5X AOI blocks to ST Function Blocks that I can import into CODESYS so I can use them for this project or if you know where I can find preexisting Function Blocks for these AOI's. Using codesys v3.5 SP21 Patch 1. We are using Visualization to display alarms. Other then the automatically created AlarmManagerTask, there is no code written to call AlarmStorage_Prg. Any ideas why we would be seeing this error in the log? The runtime actually shutdown. Hallo zusammen, ich hab ein kleines Problem bei einer Modbus TCP-Verbindung von meinem RaspberryPi (ML) zu einem Fronius Wechselrichter. Ich habe mir die CodeSys Version 3.5SP20 heruntergeladen und die Runtime auf dem RaspberryPi mit aktualisiert. Gerät ist ein Fronius Symo 6.0-3-M Folgende Konfiguration habe ich im Wechselrichter (Siehe Bilder). Laut Registertabelle fangen die Daten bei Adresse 40001 an und gehen im Modus int+SF bis 40120 Ich habe mir also im Ethernet-Adapter einen Modubus Master und darunter einen ModbusSlave angelegt. Der Slave (Fronius) hat bei mir die IP 192.168.2.46 dazu UnitID und Port. Ich habe dann einen Kanal mit den 120 WORDS und dem OFFSET angelegt. Wenn ich nun die Konfiguration übertrage , scheint erst mal alles zu passen.. aber es flackert immer wieder ein Fehler beim Slave auf (kann nicht erkennen welcher und finde auch keine Diagnose). Es werden auch keine Daten übertragen. Alles bleibt auf 0. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich noch eine weiter Modbus TCP Verbindung zu einer anderen SPS habe. Die funktioniert wunderbar. Normalerweise sollten ja auch mehrere Verbindungen gleichzeitig möglich sein oder? Wäre top, wenn ihr mir helfen könntet, den Fehler zu finden. LG Chris

So I am basically using IoDrvEthernet library to use UpdateConfiguredIPSettings function but I am getting constantly the 'INVALID_STATE' error. It sounds like your TLS setup is basically correct, since the handshake works via OpenSSL, so the issue is likely on the CODESYS side rather than the certificates themselves. From what I’ve seen with the Azure IoT Hub Client SL library, you should double-check that the SAS token is actually being generated and passed correctly to the function blocks (especially wsDeviceSaS) and that the MQTT/HTTPS FB is really triggered cyclically-otherwise the controller won’t initiate the connection at all. Also, make sure DNS, time (NTP), and full certificate chain trust are properly configured on the controller, since IoT Hub authentication depends on them even when using SAS tokens. Another thing worth checking is the library/runtime version-there are reports that certain versions changed behavior and caused connection issues. I’d recommend starting with the official demo project (AzureMQTTDemo) and comparing it step by step with your setup to see what’s missing or not triggered. Speed Stars

Hi, in my experience, the best options for such a case could be: 1. Pass a FunctionBlock via VAR_IN_OUT, containing all variables, mehods and properties needed for the logic of this graphic element (be aware of implementing correcly both get and set accessor for properties) 2. Pass an Interface via VAR_INPUT, of which you can use obviously only Properties and Methods. This is much more elegant for me. Here, you can just pass directly the instance of a FunctionBlock implementing such Interface as input. Hope you'll find this suggestions useful.

I have two ethernet Ip drives and created Function Blocks for different motions tasks. I am using same FB for both the drives. When I try to execute the relative move start command on FB for both the drives it is not working. However, if I add 1ms second delay between the execution of each drive it is working. Also when I change the rung order it is working for the first drive in the rung. what could be the wrong here?

Just to share, for those who as me are seeking for this and had found no information anywhere in this World: Every time I stop/start the PLC runtime ( turning into 'Stopped' or 'Running' state ) the 'CODESYSControlService' appears at the Taskmanager list, which could suggest a straight correlation. I was expecting a clever solution, but this one solves for while.

It depends on your application which CPU speed and RAM size you need. If you think the Control Standard S license is sufficient then my guess is that your selected PC has no problem running your application. There are no more "hardware" based single licenses available anymore, only application based licenses. So this "Raspberry Pi" restriction for home automation is not applicable anymore.
