I need to understand how an external encoder ties into the SM_Drive_PosControl setup. I have an application where I have two hydraulic servo amplifiers. The encoder is a Temposonic Linear SSI encoder. How does the encoder get tied back into the SM_Drive_PosControl axis. Thanks.

I have added a models in SiOME which a software to design nodes and add instances. and created a resultant xml file. I tried to import the xml file to Codesys through OPC UA information model Repository the problem i don't know how to view my objects which i have designed. and map it to my PLC to make viewable on my server UaExpert. I watched the tutorial video https://youtu.be/aJhzN3Uk-Do?feature=shared. But it only give you how to add the Information model, and my resultant model doesn't have information type. So how in Codesys i can view a model which i have designed in SiOME and mapped my instances (Objects, Variable or methods) with my Variables in PLC I saw people do it in Tia Portal or other Software, but i have no clue how to do it on CODESYS

Hi. I published My CODESYS-CNC Project to GitHub and I set it Open Source Software. Here https://github.com/k-s-saki/RPi_CODESYS_CNC My CNC Project is binary file , using FBD for IPO , so I found it is a little bit hard to work with people on GitHub. (diff / merge ) My question is 1) Is it possible to convert my project ( only POUs is also fine ) into text file ? How? 2) Would it be better to rewrite all FBD/LD into ST and copy them manually to text files? Thanks.

I am trying to create multiple branches in my project and I keep getting gaps in the ladder logic "wiring". I'm not sure if this is a graphical error or something else but every thing I've tried to do to correct it does not work. Has anyone else run into this or know how to correct it?

Hello, I have developed a Python script that I run to import XML files into my project. For this, I use the Python function import_xml(). Everything was working fine when I was using Codesys platform plugins version 2.6.1.2320, but since I upgraded to versions 2.7 and even 2.8, some files are no longer imported correctly. After some research, I identified that all the files containing variables of the type "POINTER TO" are affected. I have attached a screenshot of the error I am encountering. Do you know about this bug? Do you plan to fix it?

Hello, I'm currently working on transferring a project I recently created on Studio 5000 to CODESYS and unfortunately CODESYS isn't compatible with AOI's so I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me transfer these L5X AOI blocks to ST Function Blocks that I can import into CODESYS so I can use them for this project or if you know where I can find preexisting Function Blocks for these AOI's. Thank you so much!

Hi, I need to accesss to project information of a referenced library in the project. At least I need the "Released" flag from these information to check that no project gets shipped with unreleased libraries. Unfortunally, I do not get this information by script. I'm trying to export my whole project through the option ExportPLCopenXML. It seems working, but when I'm trying to import the xml I have the following error during the importation process: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. It seems a usual issue with this process that affects to the pointer to user classes inside a procedure. I receive this error for two general functions that have this pointer declarations in the VAR_INPUT section. It seems a bug into the export/import process of CodeSYS and I couldn't skip it so far. Anyone could help me? Thanks in advance.
