Hello, Basically, everything is clear to me. There's still the issue of a TimeProvider for an external device. This may be a stupid question, but I can't find this package. And of course, the question is, can the RPi machine be an external provider? Has anyone tested such a solution?

As I see from your logs I think the Timeprovider is not accurate enough in your case. Things to check - at the moment you run it on the same device? (for tesing purpose ok) I would set 127.0.0.0 as IP and set it not really to Core 0 ( many other stuff is there)

Yes, this can be fixed by setting the correct reference to the structure.... But by only the given information it is impossible to say what you did wrong. Maybe you can start by first creating an instance of the structure within the program to see how this works.

Codesys V3.5 SP22 Patch 2 I am attemtping to install Linux Arm64 SL on a Beckhoff CX9240. When the deploy of the run time begins, an error box pops up with an unhandled exception - Index was out of range. Attached is an image of the error. I am unable to expand the complete error because the software is locked up.

There is currently a bug with the Raspberry Pi 64 SL where it is unable to Trend Global Retain or PersistantVars. The work around is to use standard Global Variables for Trend Data. This will be patched by Codesys in the near future reference "VIS-6170"

for the package you net to install 32bit support(to have the native timprovider availble to deploy) sudo apt-get install libc6:i386 Then native Safeplc and native Safetimeprovider should be available to install. Raspi yes - but there is no official package available till now and you need have a rt_preemt patched kernel on the Pi, then it works like charm

Took me a while to work on this again. I testes today with a fresh setup and it works now. My OneWireCycle tasks runs for around 10seconds. I guess my mistake was that I put the cycle task for the OneWire Task to a too small number. Thx for the support!

What I think you can influence the vendor and product (DeviceName) through settings in the runtime cfg file:</product></vendor> [SysTarget] VendorNameUnicode="T\00E\00S\00T\00" DeviceNameUnicode="t\00e\00s\00t\00" Note that these are 16-bit strings, thus the ASCII padded with nulls

your case looks different, the first one was an codesys modbus tcp-slave, your's an Master-Application with gateway. I dont know this Unit, but i would say, from Point of Codesys it looks wrong configured. Just give us more detailed configuration and the please make a sketch of the topology you're trying to realise.

Ok, I think I understand. The problem is my language-setting being "swedish". I will check if I can switch to english. Update/confirmed. Change LANG to en_GB, this enabled the architechture to be correct and the control SL again to appear and to be possible to be updated. Thanks!

it works pretty well on codesys-version using device-tree and channels. heres the twist: each uid should be represented as a device, which in your case, it isn't. on the other hand, you found a solution which already works fine. Happy Modbus'ing

Hello, I would like to have, if possible, some clarification on this function. That is, I would like to understand if it is useful for managing, fom my development PC, the RTE runtime executed on a remote control. This is what the help says: Remote PLC: Opens the Remote Configuration dialog. By enabling or disabling the Control remote PC, not local option, you determine whether a PLC is used that is on a remote or local PC. Accordingly, the menu commands Start PLC, Stop PLC, and PLC Configuration refer to the local PC or a PC reached on the network. For the remote PC, specify the Target PC address, Port number, and a Timeout value (in ms) for the connection (Remote Timeout [ms]). Hello, I'm trying to use a raspberryPi 5 as a PLC. I fixed its IP address, I can ping it. I've also installed the CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL runtime on it. So I've created a gateway (IP address of the Raspberry, TCP port 1217). I see the green dot next to this gateway. When I do a network scan, I can see my raspberry (see photo). When I try to connect to it, I have to define an administrator profile, which I do. On validation, I see a message: No device is responding to the scan request. I've checked that port 1217 is listening on the raspberry, I've uninstalled the runtime then installed it again, but I can't connect. Also, when I try to configure the user groups before connecting, I see that Offline mode is not supported by the device, even though I'm connected to it in the Deploy Control SL tab. When I try to refresh, I see: Gateway not configured properly. How can I connect to my Raspberry? Have I defined my gateway incorrectly?
