Now, the only thing that isn't clear is the libary "FloatingPointUtils, 3.5.17.0 (System)"... For me, the libary doesn't work. But the problem is now solved. Thanks a lot.

Suppose you need to switch PLC IP dynamically between 192.168.1.10\192.168.2.10, First, set PLC IP to 192.16.1.10. Create a PGVL with a flag ‘xUseSecondry’ xUseSecondry : bool ; create a function that use socket to update IP: FUNCTION fSwitchIP : bool VAR_INPUT useMainIP:bool; END_VAR --------------------------------CODE------ if useMainIP then SysSockSetIPAddress(‘0’, ‘192.168.1.10’); PGVL.xUseSecondry := 0; else SysSockSetIPAddress(‘0’, ‘192.168.2.10’); PGVL.xUseSecondry := 1; end_if Now, if during execution, you need to switch IP, call the function ‘fSwitchIP()’, Set input to 1 for main IP, 0 for secondary IP. In order to set secondary IP at startup, you can do the following: in your PLC_PRG add a flag: xInit : bool := 1 ; and the code: if xInit then if PGVL.xUseSecondry then fSwitchIP(0); end_if xInit := 0 ; end_if *Alternative way is to use system events.

Hello, I've been trying to get the SM3RaspiStepper application working for a long time, but the function block with the function ConfigGetParameterValueBool and ConfigGetParameterValueLReal is always missing. Does anyone know how I can get them? I also added a screenshot.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but I don't believe a function block with this behavior exists in the default libraries. I think the best solution would be using multiple and/or blocks or make your own function block.

Hello, I am seeing some weird runtime behavior related to the EQ function on a rapsberry pi based system. I have attached a screenshot showing the strange latching I am seeing on the EQ function, and I have not seen this behavior before. I tried freshly restarting the runtime and it has this same behavior. Anyone seen this? I am on 3.5.20 with the latest runtime installed. Basically, as soon as it hits one of those EQ's in the program, it latches effectively locking the output on. Any input from the Codesys team would be appreciated as well as anyone that might know what I am seeing.

Hi peterned, the start position given in the CNC properties is only used if you use the compile mode OutQueue. With compile mode SMC_CNC_REF, you need to provide the start position in the IEC application. The function block SMC_NCInterpreter has an input piStartPosition. You can initialize it with the output of the forward kinematic transormation FB for your machine. In your case probably SMC_TRAFOF_Gantry2. Best regards, Georg

Hi, I have an issue with a function which sends a message through API Rest. I'm using a function from httpCLient library. I have tested this function inside a program and it works fine. But when I want to use it inside a function (so I can call it simultaneously from 2 different points on the main program) it gives a stack overflow error. In detail it says: "C0297 Stack Overflow on Main Task. Stack sizes... Call hierarchy:" I have simplified as much as I can the function, but I'm hitting a wall with this. Anybody has an idea of what's wrong? Thanks!

Function blocks in a SFC are executed left to right, top to bottom, instructions in ST are executed from left to right top to bottom as well. I think you are asking about the execution of POUs although you use the name function block, I believe POUs are executed in the order they are shown under the main task.

I've noticed that exceptions in system event handlers don't stop the runtime or call the exception handler. I've included a very basic example to demonstrate. It seems likely this is undesired but unavoidable. Is that the case? Is there any advice on the matter? Thanks
