Hello, I have an EtherNet IP adapter (GoPxL) running with a virtual PLC. I have successfully connected the adapter with green icons next to it. On WireShark I can see the data coming from GoPxL but on CODESYS it shows up as all 0. My firewall is turned off and I have enabled the device to always update variables. I tested my set up with Profinet and I can receive the data. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

You need to create an array with one element for each possible user. I usually define these arrays in the root screen. FrameIndex : Array [0..MaxUsers] OF INT; Then use the global CurrentClientId (defined by one of the VISU libraries) to index the array element used to select the frame. FrameIndex[CurrentClientId]

Hi, Codesyscontrol 4.13.0.0 Raspberry Pi5 64bit with latest updates. Cant get working GPIO - no output and no input. SPI/I2C not tested. GPIOs B+/Pi2, Input/Output is set in the parameters, assigned variables int the Mapping. Absolutely no reaction. Do I need to configure anything else to make it work? Thanks!

Hi! I am trying to achieve the same issue. Has there been a solution? I can create the mapping, and map the local variable, but somehow the object does not update. Furthermore, i have an issue where codesys doesn't let me set ReadWrite accesses to the variables in the "Type Mapping" place. The access will simply not be set. Has anyone ran int that issue?

It will be a reference, because it's a VAR_IN_OUT. it's a little weird debugging the array online. It just shows as a POINTER TO INT, and you can't actually see the array from the function side. But you can still work with it as a normal array, not a pointer.

The acute accent character is used for backticks: ´ (Unicode: U+02CA) The use of backticks is recommended in order to be able to use the same identifiers in CODESYS as in other programming languages or documents, such as circuit diagrams. Any character may be used between two backticks, except line breaks and other backticks. Keywords are also allowed as identifiers between backticks. Examples: ´Variable+9´ ´INT´ The backticks are part of each identifier and therefore var1 and ´var1´ are two different identifiers. Hello, I have written a function block that uses a generic constant for the upper bound of an array. I wanted to have this array in the persistent memory area, thus I constructed my FB as follows: FUNCTION_BLOCK FbWithGenericArrayLength VAR_GENERIC CONSTANT uiArrayLength : UINT := 10; END_VAR VAR PERSISTENT arr : ARRAY[1..uiArrayLength] OF INT; END_VAR In my PLC_PRG I declare an instance of said FB PROGRAM PLC_PRG VAR myFb : FbWithGenericArrayLength<10>; END_VAR This compiles just fine. When I let CODESYS fill my persistent list, it adds duplicate entries {attribute 'qualified_only'} VAR_GLOBAL PERSISTENT RETAIN // Generated instance path of persistent variable PLC_PRG.myFb.arr: ARRAY [1..uiArrayLength] OF INT; // Generated instance path of persistent variable PLC_PRG.myFb.arr: ARRAY [1..uiArrayLength] OF INT; END_VAR so I manually delete the duplicate. When i now compile, I get errors ------ Build started: Application: Device.Sim.Device.Application ------- Typify code... We can I find the GUID / ObjectIds`? I wasn´t able to get details about the GUID of DataTypes (STRUCT/ENUM,..)m, Functions (FUN), GLOBALS and TYPES. I would like to know if there is some restriction on using it on the safepart of the PLC (I tried but my PCL put himself in Stop...) ?
