Hi, Let's assume following: PRG_1 fb_1 : fbExample1; fb_1.method_1 do something... PRG_2 fb_2 : fbExample2; fb_2.method_2 if xTest then PRG_1.fb_1.method_1(); end_if; Is there a reason why runtime hangs when I call the method_1 in PRG_1 from a method in PRG_2? Both programs run in the same task. No chance that any other program calls the method. What I practically do there is that in the program PRG_2 I add a structed object into a buffer. In PRG_1 I just process the items in the buffer.

I have Already the same problem when i'm trying to write data more than 10 times in the same file. In fact, i send my data periodicaly to a file that i configured to have permission of W/R in my CodesysContol.cfg. When the Error occurs, i must reboot my machine to success. It means that the problem isn't realted to a limitation of size, but a problem in the function supposed to handle the file. totorovic : allow me to know if you've found a solution to your problem. Hi, I am using a PCAN mini CAN board which has the Windows drivers installed on the target PLC. PCAN board can be seen in device manager. However, I am getting "No CAN driver found" error. I have read the post https://forge.codesys.com/forge/talk/CODESYS-V2/thread/44aae19318/ and have uncommented the CmpPCANBasicDrv driver in the CodesysControl.cfg file in development PC and have copied it to the target PC. Current CodesysControl.cfg file attached. Is there anything else I am missing? Regards

Hi, I have Proxmox running on a Rasperry 4 and have debian 12 ARM installed here. I wanted to install Codesys Control for Raspberry on it. According to the messages, the runtime environment and the gateway were installed successfully, but I can't find a device to downplay a program. The sudo service codesys start command fails. I watched on youtube that i must delete folder from "ProgramData/CODESYS/CODESYSControlWinV3x64" But the problem is that in the the CODESYS there is no folder named CODESYSControlWinV3X64. I have found a work around. I have written a python scripts that runs on user login (entry in .bashrc) which overwrites the webvisu.htm and webvisu.cfg.json file with the configuration for the B&R T30 panel (resolution and disable scaling). First I tried to add this setting to the the CODESYSControl.cfg, but that does not work following the big CODESYS Control V3 Manual. As you suggest I suppose that problem is in drive setting but i do not see any option about increase standstill torque. That really depends on this third party software you want to use. It is possible that .xml file generated with "Generate EtherCAT XML" will not be recognized as valid ENI file. Anyway, "Generate EtherCAT XML" command is not available through standard menus and needs to be added via Tools->Customize and then Add Command. You'll find it under "Devices" section. If you provide more info, we might be able to help you further.

Hi micik, I am not sure I am using well the code, because I checked the directory and there is no retains.ret file. Now I deleted the code from my project and the values are still works as persistant variables after ssh reboot it seems to me they retain as their previous value. So I am a bit confused, maybe 4.12.0.0 Raspberry Pi SL solved the persitent variable problem...

Hello eschwellinger, at first thank you for your answer. So the only ways to activate the user management are CodeSys delevelopment enviroment and the Codesys Automation Server. So there is no function to activate the user management via code? Do you have an idea how to get back the users when somebody replaced the PLC. Our customers have only our own developed visualization and they also don't want to install further softwares. Do you maybe have a solution for this

Hello, I have a problem when opening the license manager for my raspberry pi (CM4 model) with runtime 4.13.0.0. I select "Device" --> "Soft Container" and click on my device in the scan window but I get this error message : Licensing info not available. There is no dongle attached to this device. I can't install licenses anymore, and I don't understand why is CodeSys looking for a dongle when I specified I wanted to use a Soft Container. Can somebody help me please ? Best regards

Hey guys, I have a RasPi and can control my WS2812B (addressable light strip) via Python. The lightstrip is this one: https://core-electronics.com.au/1m-rgb-led-strip-ws2812b-144-per-meter-white-strip-weatherproof.html What I would like to do is to control it directly via CodeSys through the plc on my RasPi. I know I can run a python script on CodeSys, but I'd like to avoid doing that. Is it possible, and how do I do it? Is there a library that does this?

Finnaly i get it working. There was a line in the file that set the ADS1015 chip in /boot/firmware/config.txt which i removed and after that the ADS1115 has a green turning circle and i got values. i created a new component so it fits our ADS1015. see screenshot. It works also with Codesys Control for Raspberry Pi 64 SL after adding the ULINT_TO_UDINT conversion in the library. i think the chip was all the time in use by the Raspberry pi itself. Hello All, Does anyone have experience configuring a PROFIsafe communication between EL6910 (F-Host) and and a F-Device in Codesys? I would expect that the PROFIsafe configuration process would be pretty similar as the FSoE configuration. Although, when an F-Device is included under PN-Controller, Codesys doesn't allocate a PROFIsafe logical device automatically under EL6910, as it happens when a FSoE slave is added under EtherCAT master. I thank anyone in advance who can help me on this.

Hi! After upgrading all my licensed runtimes to V4.14.0.0 (= RaspberryPi SL, LinuxSL and ControlWin x64 SL) I found out via the logfiles they all defaulted back into DEMO mode while all runtimes have a USB dongle inserted. So, my main question is how I can get the Dongle license detected? I use License Server 4.14.0.0 and Edge Gateway 4.14.0.0 on all platforms Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi CODESYS team! It seems Podman for Raspberry Pi 3 is not detected correctly in the latest "Deploy Control SL 4.14.0.0" : Linux/ARMHFv7 unknown container technology. 1) The Communication Tab, device information section shows podman technology as DETECTED. 2) The Runtime Deployment menu message says: "unknown container architecture" 3) The pulldown window under the deployment tab doesn't show the options for ARMHF Virtual Edge SL and ARMHF Virtual Control SL. I hope you can fix this soon and keep up the great work!

The error on File Open is 5114 File Operation Danied.. here below the implemented code and the windows file's properties. I use to implement codesys in RPI and this operation is immediate... The similar questions are already asked here on the CODESYS Forge Talk, but remained unanswered. Exact screenshot is attached, but essentially I would like to know which component in the Codesys has CmpID = 0x00000019 and what this Timeout means?

Hello, I have found the following instruction in the online help( https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/CmpSupervisor/3.5.17.0/SupervisorOperationSetTimeout.html ): Sets a (new) timeout for the given operation Supervision must be disabled to modify the timeout and should be enabled afterwards. However, I don't quite understand how to do this? Where can I disable and later enable Supervision? Is it through Codesys application or device menu? I don't find instructions clear.
