Problem solved The client modbus cycle time was linked to a task at 500ms. Whereas the channel modbus was at 200ms. Certainly problem of packages synchronisation. I let the client modbus cycle time to be handled by itself (See attachement) --> "Use the bus cyle time parameters" (traduce from french) See attachement

I need to be able to update (change) the interface of an IO-Link device at runtime. The reason is the connected sensor can be selected at runtime, and some sensors we use have a 2 byte IN interface, others have a 4 byte IN interface, others 16 byte IN, others 16 byte IN/OUT (see attached screenshot). Is it possible at all? When yes, which function should I use? Thank you!

Hello I am trying to download my project onto my Codesys Control RTE x64 soft PLC. and I have had an issue when downloading. I have checked my BIOS to make sure my secure boot status is disabled, see attached image. when I go to component manager, the drop down menu doesnt have the new network adapter, see attached image. I have not yet purchased or installed any licenses is that what I am missing? What other reason is there that I can't download to the runtime. Thanks

I am using Codesys Control RTE V3 Version 3.5.21.0 I am not sure what you are asking. Which hardware ID has the network interface card? I have ran ipconfig /all and attached an image. Let me know what other information I can provide to you to help troubleshoot this problem. Thank

Hi Trusty-Squire, just seen you post , thanks for the reply. I was out on site the other day as it had done it again and changed a few things like cycle time etc. plc load is only 7% at its highest. I took a few screenshots while i was there to add to this post. its been up for about a week now but seems to happen at random every couple of weeks. fingers crossed!

Hi, SM3_Math is actually an internal library of SoftMotion. You can use it. The only restriction is that there is no compatibility guarantee - meaning that POUs in the library may change their interface, get moved/renamed/removed... in future versions of SoftMotion.

I need to be able to change (set) the DeviceID of an IO-Link sensor (see DeviceID.png) at runtime. I tried with both ProfinetCommon.PN_PortConfiguration and ProfinetCommon.IOL_PortConfiguration, but I get an error for both when I try to read the port configuration (see PN_PortConfiguration.png). Does one of those FBs is the right one for my purpose? Do I possibly make a mistake when assigning the parameter IOLD_ID/IOLM_ID?

Hi, On CODESYS V3.5.19.50 I am using the latest 3S File Access library (CAA File & CAA Types) to save and retrieve configuration data from the User Data section of an SD card, via file called config.txt. The application reads the file to memory once upon initialisation, and then the only other operation is overwriting the file with the updated configuration whenever the user changes the settings. An issue is ocurring, seemingly randomly, where the config.txt file, and all surrounding directories, cannot be written to by the unit, returning a READ_ONLY_CAA error upon file open. This sometimes does not clear even after power-cycling the PLC several times, yet checking the file permissions with ls -l shows normal read, write, and execute access. I am wondering if this is caused by the PLC itself or by an issue in my application. Resolved this. There is a config file called CodesysControl_User that I had to edit to set the driver to component 5. I deleted the semi colon next to Component.5=CmpEt1000Drv

Hello, I noticed that version 0.0.0.6 is now available, so I tested it using CODESYS V3.5 SP19 Patch 7 and SoftMotion 4.17.0.0. While the project compiles and downloads without issues, I encountered a problem with the 'Enable: GPIO pin number that is set when the axis is enabled (with MC_Power) (0: not used)' functionality — it no longer works (HIGH level not present at the output pin). I observed the same behavior with version 0.0.0.5, whereas version 0.0.0.4 functions correctly. Could you help me identify what might be causing this issue or suggest how to resolve it? Thanks.
