For the protocol. What also works is to do the process via ssh (using runtime on linux) sudo /etc/init.d/codesyscontrol stop modify the persistence file values sudo /etc/init.d/codesyscontrol start

There still is no solution to this. I am running Modbus version 4.4.0.0 and it still wont let me add more than 10 channels. Does anyone have a solution for this?

The goal is to integrate a Phoenix Contact device coupler (Part ID: BK PN TPS 2403869) via PROFINET. Here am using the CODESYS V3.5 SP21 PATCH2 ,VERSION 3.5.21.20 , and Downloaded extension package 4.16.0.0 (old versions are not available in the extension CodeSys installer) Devices used here are: BUS COUPLER : 2403869 BK PN TPS Module carrier slot 1 : 1088127 AXL SE DI16/1 Module carrier slot 2 : 1088062 AXL SE AI4 | 4-20 Module carrier slot 3 : 1088129 AXL SE DO16/1 Module carrier slot 4 : 1088123 AXL SE AO4 | 4-20 -->Start a New Project Type: Standard Project Device: CODESYS Control Win V3 x64 Language: Structured Text -->Install GSDML File Navigate to: Tools > Device Repository > Install Select the GSDML file path (downloaded from Phoenix Contact for device coupler Part ID: BK PN TPS 2403869) Click Renew Device Repository Close the dialog -->Add Device to Project -->Right-click on Devices > Add Device Issue: Devices from the repository are not available to select or call into the project! In the device selection. Do not filter on Phoenix. Remove this filter and first add an Ethernet Adapter from CODESYS. To this Ethernet adapter add the Profinet Controller. After this you can filter on Phoenix devices in the "add device dialog".

Do not filter on Phoenix devices. First add an Ethernet device (from CODESYS). Then add a Profinet Controller (from CODESYS). Then add your Phoenix devices to this CODESYS Profinet Controller.

Dear @gseidel, Thank you for your reply. The exact version of Codesys and its compiler was 3.5.21.20. The compiler version was fixed and could not be changed in project settings. Since I couldn't continue due to this compilation error, I temporarily overcame this issue as follows. -- I completely uninstalled Codesys 3.5.21.20 and completely deleted the Codesys folder in the C:\ProgramData folder. -- I restarted my computer and installed Codesys 3.5.19.70. -- I updated the Codesys Installer and all its add-ons to the latest versions. -- The project that was giving me the compilation error I mentioned before is now open with Codesys 3.5.19.70, compiled it, and successfully downloaded it on the device. -- I haven't encountered the same problem anymore. I think this issue is related to SP21 and its compiler. Frankly, I'd expect a project created with an older version to compile without errors after opening it with the latest Codesys version and updating all libraries. Regards, imdatatas

the procedure is usually 1. install the Licenserver (on the host) with the deploy tool in CODESYS) 2. if you go to the CODESYS WBM you should see an empty Softcontainer 130-xxxxxx 3. activate the license with SoftContainer number and ticketnumber that was it!
