Good morning @mondinmr, I'm trying to install codesys 3.5.20.0 inside bottles (with wine 9.2). The full installation seems to be done (exept CodeMeter). When I run Codesys IDE an error related to IPMCLI appear and there is non chanse to open the IDE. How did you solve this issue? Thanks a lot.

Codesys has a motion libraries (SoftMotion), but you need to buy a licence keys for them to work. the most basic one is SoftMotionLight. you just have to select your drive in the device view and add a SoftMotionLight CiA402 axis. then the library is added to your project. You can use the SML_* motion FBs and configure the axis now.

One workaround is to create a second application which is started after the rested of the main application. The second application starts the main application after time x and is rest after done start of the main application. No problems during the fieldbus re-start by this workaround.

Hi, thanks a lot for the response. I did check all these parameters, but if the PlanningTask takes up to 60 ms, I can't increase the Buffer to such values. I contacted the Codesys support with a projectarchive. Let's see if they can help. Thanks again for your great support!

Hi, I have a "CODESYS Control Standard L" license and I use Ethercat and Profinet in my project. The project works seamlessly with two fieldbuses. However, when I add modbus_Com (Serial) or 1 OPC Tag to the project, the program throws an exception (Application app=Application has invalid license metrics!). My license should support 10*Modbus and 512 OPC Tags. Why might this problem occur?

Wow.... I missed this one in the manual - so there is a special syntax to invalidate a reference... Great :) Seems to work. (it's just mentionned in the examples line)... I've always assigned 0 to the variable, with := 0 - like setting a pointer to 0. In theory, that should work as well. Thanks!

Hey schnepper, when i look into your c-file, i would say that only the main-function is declared with cext-addendum in your codesys-library-project. all yöur funtions in library has to be the cext-addendum when the external implementation is activ. if i remeber right, methods and other subelements dont need that, but every base-elements

I have not used this client / server OPC UA combination since. We were only making some kind of proof of concept. I did understand that there could be some kind of bug. I do not know if the supposed bug has been resoved since. Perhaps you could try what piautomation is suggesting

I am trying to create a new proyect using the Raspberry Pi 4.11.0.0 package with Codesys 3.5 SP20, I am able to communicate with the Raspberry and start the runtime application but when I create a new proyect I have these errors. When opening the library manager of the proyect the library of the IoDrvGPIO is used so I dont really know whats happening.

Man müsste den Fehler genauer analysieren + ich denke er müsste den Slave wieder an den Busholen oder fällt ads ganze Netzwerk aus? Welche Versionen genau sind im Einsatz? Hi after some assistance with an error on a Groov PR2 PLC. We have a few different communications set up as shown below: One Modbus TCP Slave Connection - ( Sending / Receiving Data from a PC ) Two Modbus TCP Master Connection - ( Reading Data from a UPS Panel and Reading Data Gas Chromatograph) One Modbus RTU Slave Connection 485 - (Reading Data from a fire and gas panel) One Modbus RTU Master Connection 485 - (Sending Data to a Telemetry Unit) All Licenses have been installed as per OPTO22 suggestions of the order below: Modbus TCP Master Modbus TCP Slave Modbus RTU Master Modbus RTU Slave When I check on License manager the RTU Master license seems to disappear on installing the RTU. (What ever reason I’ve been told this is “normal”). If I use Device License Read It will successfully read all the licenses correctly. Now the issue is every 2 hours and between 4. For what ever reason the communications seems to end and lock up for about 20 seconds. During this time even if I was logged into the PLC it would kick me off and I’d have to re type the password to enter. Most of the devices can handle this however the RTU flags up a communications failure at the SCADA and is raising alarms every 2 hours and 4 mins. We’ve had multiple people go through the code to check for anything obvious. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi there, I am getting troubles with a project. In the Hardware configuration I got some Lenze drives 9400. One of them got as status " Module not Found". Connection are good. ID Node of the Canopen network is also good. I don't find any reason for this status, nor any options to check.
