I have found a work around. I have written a python scripts that runs on user login (entry in .bashrc) which overwrites the webvisu.htm and webvisu.cfg.json file with the configuration for the B&R T30 panel (resolution and disable scaling). First I tried to add this setting to the the CODESYSControl.cfg, but that does not work following the big CODESYS Control V3 Manual. It looks like it works with 4.13.0.0 indeed. However when installing the runtime, it's not possible to select the multicore option (see attachment). But once the 4.13.0.0 runtime is installed, the logs seems to indicate that the runtime is running in multicore mode. Looking at "htop" output, it seems like it actually is running on multiple CPU. This is very misleading, is it normal or is this a bug ? Thank you for your answer @eschwellinger, BR

Hello, I have a problem when opening the license manager for my raspberry pi (CM4 model) with runtime 4.13.0.0. I select "Device" --> "Soft Container" and click on my device in the scan window but I get this error message : Licensing info not available. There is no dongle attached to this device. I can't install licenses anymore, and I don't understand why is CodeSys looking for a dongle when I specified I wanted to use a Soft Container. Can somebody help me please ? Best regards

The error on File Open is 5114 File Operation Danied.. here below the implemented code and the windows file's properties. I use to implement codesys in RPI and this operation is immediate... I still cannot enable persistent manager for my project (and successfully login to a device). Project compiles with no errors but during download/login it fails with the fairly limited message "one or more errors occurred". The only clue I get from the system that this messages is displayed during "Generating code..: relocation pou". Any tips pointing me in a direction how to solve this very much appreciated!

"google and some other providers, prevent from using as iframe and similar injections." Hello @rmaas I assume, you've already verified and tuned everything regarding the EtherCAT network. In my case the problem was due to a wrong core assignement. I suggest to not use the core #0 for your EtherCAT task. The OS realtime patch, which is present on RevPi OS, uses the core #0 for its porpouses and it mustn't be used by any other task which requires realtime and deterministic features. regards Rossano

Hello, i am trying to find a way how to open Dialogs on a Single Visu. The options from VU.Globals are Target and WebVisu, but Webvisu opens the Dialog on both WebVisus and it should be separated. CurrentVisu can only be used when the Dialog is called from the Visu, but its all done in the Code. One Webvisu is for the User and one is for diagnostic reasons, and they should not be interfered from each other. Maybe someone can help me with this. Thanks

Hello, Coming from robotics, I'm used to coordinate systems using the right-hand rule. But when I created below small NC program in the Codesys CNC editor, I noticed that the axis triad's Z-axis is flipped (see attached screenshot), resulting in left-hand rule. It seems like the VisuElems library has updated functions to the ones you used but apparently these older ones still work, even if I couldn't find them in the library documentation and they are also not suggested automatically by Codesys (when using Ctrl + Space). Hey, I am facing the same problem. Basically UA Expert and other programs work fine with the login credentials. But codesys can not use them properly. I can see the server login to it manually but when I download the program and run the datasource never runs... Currently I am facing the same Error ID: 7012 and cant get it running properly.

Hello, I using codesys motion with Parker servo (without brake). In my application i use mc_moverelative. When i send new position motor moves. But when it arrives to the point it stops and does not hold the position. It means that i can easily move shaft by hand Should i somewere turn it on so motor keep position by torque (current)? Hello jacobwago, I believe that the limit is fixed in the editor, but not in the driver package. There seems to be no link between the driver setting and the editor. Otherwise, I don't know why the input (>10) is blocked, but the function is available. Unfortunately, I cannot offer you any other solution apart from the one mentioned above. Kind regards

I encountered the same problem. (Windows10 x64 single language OS). As @eschwellinger mentioned, I uninstalled the latest EdgeGateway version and installed version 3.5.20.0. Now, when I right-click and select "Allow Edge Gateway...", Config mode is activated without any error or warning window and I do not need to manually type [CmpEdgeGateway] for EdgeGateway version 3.5.20.0.

I added new Gateway and I can see it connected. When I scan the server for PLC, it finds the PLC but when I click the Add To Server button, it shows "PLC was added." in the status. But I can't find the PLC in the list. I tried removing the gateway and re-configure everything again but it didn't solve. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem and tried entering “ForceIecFilePath=0” in the file “CODESYSControl.cfg” ([SysFile]). Unfortunately, this was unsuccessful. If I add "PlaceholderFilePath.2=/sys/devices/w1_bus_master2, $OneWire2$" to the CODESYScontrol.cfg I can use a 2nd OneWireMaster in the Codesys Runtime. But then my EtherCAT_Master is not working any more. Any Idea? Is there any instruction or documentation how a 2nd OneWire Bus Master can be used within Codesys Runtime on a raspberry pi 5?
