Hello, I'm trying to connect with a Wago TP600 HMI but without success. I'm using codysis 3.5 SP19 patch 7 (SP20 block all the time) and the official wago package is installed. However, when I scan and select my device, I get a message saying that the device doesn't match the project's device object with the possibility to update the device (as shown in the attached picture). however, after choosing to update i got a message that the device is not found. I've tried with a new empty project but the same results. do you have any ideas? Thanks.

Greetings to all, I'm working on a webvisu project on control win V3 x64 runtime, and have purchased 3 licenses for my application. -Codesys Control Standard M -Codesys Visualization L -Codesys Communication M I have them installed on a Codesys usb dongle When I try to download the program, a login error window appears with the message "No valid license found for the webvisualization". The control win v3 communicates with 3 plc, and have enabled communication over codesys V3 communication by adding one datasource for every plc in the datamanager. If I remove the data manager from the project, the rest of the visualisation can be downloaded normally. Do I need to purchase another License and which one? Please find attached the software metrics and the error screen.

Hallo, 1. ich bin komplett NEU was Codesys angeht 2. ich muss direkt ein Retrofit machen von V2 auf V3 3. Neue Steuerung: WAGO 750-8211 PFC200. 4. das Projekt in V2 hat über SNMP daten im Netzwerk zur Verfügung gestellt, oder diese gelesen 5. das Projekt in V3 kann SNMP nur noch eingeschränkt nutzen, deswegen wurde mir vom WAGO Support nahegelegt die IIoT Lib zu verwenden. Frage: Wie mach ich das? Konkret: Ich habe die WagoAppSNMP Bibliothek installiert, damit kann ich schon mal Set und Get nutzen (hoffentlich, hab es ja noch nicht getestet, sondern nur programmiert). Ist das ein schlauer Weg, das über diese Lib zu machen? Denn: was macht der SNMP_SET_PLCDATA_WRITEAREA ? Den kann ich über die Wago Lib nicht nutzen und weiß auch nicht, was dieser Baustein konkret tut (Bild im Anhang). Es scheint mir, hier werden Daten auf ein Word im Netzwerk geschrieben? Aber geht das nicht auch einfacher? Es ist ja keine Adresse hinterlegt, wo das hin gehen soll oder? Also, ich verstehe den Baustein nicht so ganz und konnte bisher auch keine Erklärung dazu finden. With that I could make an array of varying size, but would still have to define the array type in the function's declaration VAR_IN_OUT stArray: array [*..*] of <pre-defined data type> END_VAR I wanted a function that could take an array of any type (e.g., a structured VAR) as an input. That way I could call it in multiple POUs to handle different arrays structures.

Hello everyone, I created a visualization with a lot of REAL, with one or two digits after the decimal point. This causes me problems in terms of rounding and memory... is it possible to display an integer with a comma, like with PROFACE or SIEMENS? It's just an "abuse" of display, the comma is just on the visualization. This limits the memory (16 versus 64 bytes) and rounding is easier to manage... See print screen on proface software THANKS

you need at them moment a download once (for the configuration files generated including addresses) then stop the plc - exchange the persistence file ( without the config file) This will be improved to 3.5.18.6 and 3.5.20.0. (possible then to generate offline bootproject including full persistenmanager files) - this is if you have not 100% the same bootapplication on the devices. In case you copy the whole Application (PLCLogic) directory it should work out of the box - but only with 100% same bootprojects as mentioned above. By the CODESYS Automation Server would help solve this too.

Hello, I'm using the new Codesys 3.5 SP19 Patch 4 version with CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL v4.8. Compared to the Codesys 3.5 SP19 Patch 1 version, the context menu on a Trace object no longer works. So I can no longer run the Downloader Trace command. Hello, I'm trying to access the group IDs of the connected user. "CurrentUserGroupId" var shows only the first group ID that the user is assigned, I need the other group IDs that the user is in. I started a project in codesys for a WAGO 750-8212 PLC and I am working on getting online with the controller. I can log in to the controller and I can see and control all of the fieldbus couplers that I have. I am unable to get the internal bus working. It just says that the bus is not running and when I scan or devices nothing shows up. Am I missing something important in my device tree?

I have found a work around. I have written a python scripts that runs on user login (entry in .bashrc) which overwrites the webvisu.htm and webvisu.cfg.json file with the configuration for the B&R T30 panel (resolution and disable scaling). First I tried to add this setting to the the CODESYSControl.cfg, but that does not work following the big CODESYS Control V3 Manual. We can I find the GUID / ObjectIds`? I wasn´t able to get details about the GUID of DataTypes (STRUCT/ENUM,..)m, Functions (FUN), GLOBALS and TYPES. Hello, if you enter %t as a "Text" on a rectangle and do not link a variable in "Text variable", it automatically displays the system time. My question is, where do if find a variable, that contains exactly this time? I tried numerous variants using GetLocalDateTime or GetSysTime but I always have to manage timezones myself (which I do not want to do). I only want a variable with the date an time from my windows system, where the visualization is running. Where can I find this variable?

Hello everyone Since I have installed Codesys 3.5.20sp2 I cannot get the profinet features working again. Now I get RPC Blocked during device scan (see attached file) and when online I get RPC-call error (see attached file). I run Codesys on the last version of Windows 11, Profinet ports have been added to Firewall rules, and even with disabled Firewall I get same result I really never seen that before Same result using another PC I already spent 2 days to find the issu without any success, I would appreciate some help, thank you! It looks like it works with 4.13.0.0 indeed. However when installing the runtime, it's not possible to select the multicore option (see attachment). But once the 4.13.0.0 runtime is installed, the logs seems to indicate that the runtime is running in multicore mode. Looking at "htop" output, it seems like it actually is running on multiple CPU. This is very misleading, is it normal or is this a bug ? Thank you for your answer @eschwellinger, BR

Hi All, for my robotics application we are building a 2-axis parallel scara using the kin_bipod_rotary kinematics. What do you mean by continuous movement? You want to continuously follow a dynamic target position? SMC_ControlAxisByPos, which is typically used with CNC Interpolators, could work for that. Instead of feeding the target position in from the Interpolator, feed in the target position from your server instead. You have declared the function block in a function and call the instance also from a function. This is not correct, because a function is initialised with every call. The http client function block should be declared as Global Variable if you want to cal it from a Function, but probably it is better to declare it in a Program and also call the instance of the http function block from the same Program.... The variables of a Program are not initialised with each call.

Hello, I currently have my trend configured with a maximum size limit of 5MB (additional settings can be seen in the attached image). However, I am encountering an error related to this trend, specifically within the TrendStorageAccess library. The device log shows the following message: TrendStorageAccess: prvCheckForSizeLimit (see the attached image for details). Does anyone know the reason for this error? Additionally, where can I find more information to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks in advance!

just now i have tried loading the achive file from today at work. using 3.5.20.4 same as at work. when i open the project it says " prject inspection, this project has been saved with a different version(codesys v3.5 sp20 patch 4).? one option in the above "project inspection" window just wants to download that same version again. the other option leads no where as it say the required add ons cant be resolved. just end up going around in circles.

Hi Everyone, It is a very useful feature to be able to obtain the enum value as a string with the TO_STRING operator by defining {attribute 'to_string'}. I have a Codesys-based Eurotherm E+PLC400 connected to Codesys HMI SL for visualization. I am also bringing in several Pressure Indicators via the Ethernet. Everything works; however, the Pressure indicators sometimes read a negative value. When they do, the displayed value on the screen reads "65532." While I know what it represents, the customer freaks out and wants it to read "0" or a negative number. The value comes in as an integer, just in case that matters. Does anyone have any ideas?

Update: I still have no idea what was causing my issues, but it went away as soon as I identified that another device on the CAN was generating a Sync message at 16#7F. Changing this to be on 16#80 made the problem go away. I have no idea why this solves the problem and would love to hear from anyone who knows why these two things might be related.

Hi, I'm having some trouble with an OPC client connecting to the PLC. It could be that the problem is on the client side of things. The PLC have UPS power, but the switch and OPC client does not. It could explain some of the log messages. Could any of you help debugging by the log messages in the attachment? And if possible point me to the right library that explains the different messages? Thanks for all the help.
