Wow! Thanks mr Strucc. Changed to service to run as local acc, and now log works! The service (run from local acc) is using this config: C:\Users\SRV\AppData\Roaming\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3\C4DBB537\CODESYSControl.cfg The path you first mentioned (c:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming) has no CODESYS folder in it (Windows 11 24H2 b26100.3194). Hi everyone, I’m using an IFM ecomatBasic CR413S controller and having trouble connecting it to CODESYS 3.5. I have CODESYS SP18 installed, as recommended in the manual, and I’ve tried different patches. I’ve also installed all the packages provided on the IFM website for this controller. I can successfully connect to the ecomatBasic template, but I’m unable to connect when using the CR413S-specific template that includes all the inputs and outputs. Hey tk96 Thank you for your help. I have found the reason why fbreader stuck. It was not the program but it was the gcode itself. G21 command blocks the reader. And multiple G codes in a line also blocks the reader. My code was: N010 G21 G17 G90 -> Blocked the reader When i change it to: N010 G90 N020 G17 Then it worked. The only thing i did not get is why the reader did not thwor error. ErrorId was SMC_NO_ERROR. Anyway, it is now working. Thanks again.

Is it possible to use MC_Home without enabling the drive (MC_Power)? On the drive the homing method 35 (Homing on current position) has to be executed. The drive has to stay disabled due to safety. This is explicitly allowed by the drive. Unfortunately MC_Home reports the error SMC_REGULATOR_OR_START_NOT_SET when executed. Are there other options to start homing, if not with MC_Home?

I need official assistance with the following issue: During EtherCAT communication, if a slave station drops off the network or the master station encounters an error, the problem can currently only be resolved by performing a software-based hot reset. I still cannot enable persistent manager for my project (and successfully login to a device). Project compiles with no errors but during download/login it fails with the fairly limited message "one or more errors occurred". The only clue I get from the system that this messages is displayed during "Generating code..: relocation pou". Any tips pointing me in a direction how to solve this very much appreciated!

Hello, I have a Raspberry Pi 3 which has a printer connected to his USB port. I have a PiFace Board on the Raspberry. I have a python script file (.py) to print a logo + a text. The script is working because when I execute it from the Raspberry terminal it works. Now, when I push a button on the PiFace I would like to execute the python script file to print. The problem has been resolved. Two findings are described below for future reference. The new RPi hw delivered during August 2025 has a MAC address from a new vendor series that is not supported by old runtimes. 4.17.0.0 or above is required. 4.17.0.0 does not pick up the correct architecture during installation and aarch64 has to be manually configured either in the GUI under operations or in /etc/codesyscontrol/CODESYSControl_User.cfg under the [CmpRasPi] section.

Dear Eschwellinger, Thank you for the response. Does that mean that the license-manager inside the Codesys-IDE does not work with this setup anymore? Because when I use this I get the notification that there is no dongle attached to the device (see picture). And If I insert the license by the deploy tool, can I then redeploy the Codesys virtual control container, or does this erase the license completely?

Hi albert1999 and forest, I hope you are well. I too am wondering if you have found any solutions? Im working with a RPi and a Omron R88D-ETH servo amplifier. The SoftMotion is timing out after 30min without the license, but I cant figure out how to license it, and I seem to have some compatibility issues between my RPi license and any SoftMotion licenses. Did you guys have any luck? Thank you very much for any assistance offered. Toby

Hallo, wie verhält es sich mit der Demo-Version und Datenübertragung z.B. via CAN-Bus. Der Bus läuft, das Device befindet sich im Zustand "Operational" aber es werden keine Daten von der Soft-SPS empfangen. Ich benutze aktuell eine nicht lizenzierte Version von CoDeSys Control for Linux ARM64SL. Normalerweise sollte die Demo-Version uneingeschränkt laufen - also kann ich davon ausgehen, dass es sich um einen Programmierfehler handelt oder ist die Feldbusfunktion ohne Lizenz doch in irgendeiner Form eingeschränkt verfügbar (außer dem 30 Minuten Limit nach Reboot)?

On the 750-362 i have a 4DO, 8DI and a RS485 interface card. the 4DO and 8DI cards a working fine but im strugling with the rs485 card. Does someone have a example for this?

Good morning, I am currently working on implementing a display dimmer. I want the display to dim after X minutes. This works so far. The implementation is done via the Linux subsystem, to which a command is sent to dim the display. However, my problem is resetting the timer when input is received. I want the dimming timer to be reset with each click/touch. Unfortunately, I can't find a suitable solution for this. Are there any ways to do this? Codesys v3.5 SP19 Patch 2

I can see the screen from PLC, but i also want to se Input and Output the PLC . I try to scan the network by useing tosibox Gateway but its not working. Where i should looking the problem ? Hallo zusammen, grundsätzlich sollte ja die Möglichkeit bestehen den Raspberry auch als SPI Slave zu nutzen. Leider habe ich kein entsprechendes Projekt gefunden, bei dem dies der Fall war. Kann mir jemand dabei weiter helfen, wie ich bei Codesys Control for Raspberry , die Konfigurationen für den SPI Slave machen kann? Der Master soll ein Microkontroller sein von einem anderen Gerät sein. Ich arbeite noch mit 4.10.0.0 und einem Raspberry Pi 4 Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße
