Hallo, Ich habe schon mehrfach Treiber für I2C Geräte geschrieben und keine Probleme mit dem Einbinden gehabt, aber derzeit komme ich auf keinen grünen Zweig. Der Import des Geräterepository (xml) funktioniert, der Import ins Bibliothekenrepository funktioniert auch, aber wenn ich dann das Gerät an den I2C MAster anfüge funktioniert der Import in das Projektbibiothek nicht und somit wird auch der entsprechende FB nicht instanziert und ich bekomme folgende Fehlermeldungen ------ Übersetzungslauf gestartet: Applikation: Device.Application ------- Code typisieren... I’m trying to integrate a custom PLC into CODESYS so that it appears under the Device section. From what I understand, this requires a .devdesc.xml device descriptor file. I attempted to create the XML manually, but whenever I try to install it in order to generate a .package file, CODESYS crashes. CODESYS version: 3.5.21.20 Target PLC: Linux ARM64–based My questions are: Is there an official or easier way to generate a valid .devdesc.xml file for a custom PLC? Are there tools, templates, or examples that can help ensure the XML is structured correctly and won’t cause crashes? Hi there, little late to the party, but you could also use the ST block for in-line ST code and implement a for loop as you normally would. ST Block is super handy if you just need a small amount of in-line structured text code without creating a new POU. Hope this helps!

it should be something like: fbWebClient : WEB_CLIENT.WebClient; You need to use the "Namespace" of the library, not the name of the library itself.

If you are a vendor of controllers and want to have your own CODESYS Runtime on your device, then you need to contact the CODESYS Sales team and ask for the runtime Toolkit. For resellers of CODESYS devices, this can be interesting. If it is only for a few devices, then why not just take the standard runtime?

Hi, I’m evaluating CODESYS for our devices. If I buy a standard runtime and the Toolkit, can I create a custom device descriptor so users can select my device (instead of just “CODESYS Control for Linux ARM64 SL”) when starting a new project? Has anyone done this or know if it’s possible? Thanks!

Yes, this is possible with the Toolkit. We only server customers in the Benelux that do this, so contact your local CODESYS distributor, or contact the sales team of CODESYS Germany.

I have a Topcon Opus B3 ECO Full display and i wanna program it with codesys, but i cant connect it to the display. After creating a new project, i choose the device "Opus B3-B4-B6-3.5.19.50" that is already available in my version of codesys, but i think the problem is that my version of codesys or something else is not the same as the codesys runtime version running on my display. Can anyone tell me how i can see the codesys runtime version on my display? i tried looking in the settings (Daemon > CDS) on the display, but all i see is "N/A" for "Customer Number", "Customer Part Number" and "Customer Serial Number". Can anyone help me make this connection?

When I created a new project in CODESYS using the "Standard Project" template and then added a Visualization, I was receiving the C0138 error during compilation. This issue persisted even with a new, completely empty project. A Quick and Effective Solution (My Method): After many attempts, I solved the problem as follows: From the File -> New Project menu, I selected the "HMI Project" template directly, instead of the "Standard Project" template. After creating the project with this template, I added my POUs, Tasks, and programs (e.g., Ladder, ST). Using this method, the project compiled successfully without any errors. So, my question is: are there any other solutions besides this method?

Hello everyone, I'm hoping for some assistance with a license activation issue: a software crash has left my license in a strange state. Here is the sequence of events: I purchased a new license for the Raspberry PI from the official CODESYS web store. I opened the CODESYS and started the online activation process using the ticket number I received. During the activation, the CODESYS software threw an exception and crashed. I was not able to see if the activation completed. After restarting CODESYS, I attempted to run the activation process again with the same ticket number. The License Manager now gives me an error stating that the ticket has already been activated/used. I am now stuck because my installation is not licensed, but the activation server believes my ticket has been consumed. Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a way to have the ticket status reset?
