@eschwellinger does FILE.Copy fails with FILE_OPERATION_DENIED when copying outside from the IEC path for the same reason? I'm looking for a workaround to this limitation.

I think you should use a piece of hardware in between your drive (pulse/direction) and the plc like for example Beckhoff EL2521 - so Ethercat might be to choice if you need CNC and SoftMotion. EK1100 and EL2521

Our IPC has multiple seperate ethernet ports. Is it possible to have two ethercat masters on the IPC (on two different ehternet ports off course)? If so, is there documentation available on this, or are there watchouts? Thansk

Dear Forum, We are currently running into a problem that the CODESYS OPC DA server is running out of RAM (larger than 2 GB). We have a setup of 10 Codesys controllers which features around 300.000 discoverable tags per controller. We are only interested in 10 percent of the tags to be communicated to the OPC-server, this is due to the fact the program consists of arrays of objects which on their part implements arrays of objects, simply reducing the number of discoverable tags is not an option The OPC-DA server loads all the discoverable tags, is it possible to: 1 let the OPC-DA server only load the tags that are requested by the SCADA/MES system. 2 let the OPC-DA server claim more memory. 3 run 2 OPC-DA servers in parallel? I know, that is not the issue though. The issue is the HMI_Blower_Auto_PB variable not changing to false. I do not have the IO modules plugged in yet, that is why there are NaN values for those variables. That should not affect this.

Have you cross referenced the variable to see if it is being written some where else? You could try an Execute block instead of a Move.

Hello @eschwellinger, My project stopped working again. it would appear that this solution didn't resolve the problem perminantely. I deleted my alarm manager and the problem is no longer. When I put back in the Alarm Manager and my alarms the issue returns.

Hello all, I cannot find anything connecting IEC-61499 to CODESYS. Considering the quality of the CODESYS IEC-61131-3 implementation and that IEC-61499 expands on it, literally including as integral part, why is there no mention of CODESYS and IEC-61499 anywhere on the internet?
