When I created a new project in CODESYS using the "Standard Project" template and then added a Visualization, I was receiving the C0138 error during compilation. This issue persisted even with a new, completely empty project. A Quick and Effective Solution (My Method): After many attempts, I solved the problem as follows: From the File -> New Project menu, I selected the "HMI Project" template directly, instead of the "Standard Project" template. After creating the project with this template, I added my POUs, Tasks, and programs (e.g., Ladder, ST). Using this method, the project compiled successfully without any errors. So, my question is: are there any other solutions besides this method?

Thanks for the reply, i am using codesys SP16 patch 5 as this is the version that is compatible with my IFM controller. i am accessing the lastusage variable from the VisuStructClientData structure through a pointer. when i log in it lists the time since last log in but does not continually count, it remains a static value which isnt useful. hopefully you can help. Hi CODESYS team! It seems Podman for Raspberry Pi 3 is not detected correctly in the latest "Deploy Control SL 4.14.0.0" : Linux/ARMHFv7 unknown container technology. 1) The Communication Tab, device information section shows podman technology as DETECTED. 2) The Runtime Deployment menu message says: "unknown container architecture" 3) The pulldown window under the deployment tab doesn't show the options for ARMHF Virtual Edge SL and ARMHF Virtual Control SL. I hope you can fix this soon and keep up the great work!

Hello, I'm facing the same problem, I can access the FLIR AX Series camera through the IP converter software (go2rtc). In the CODESYS 3.5.19 patch 7 software, the streaming does not appear in the webvisu even using the URL "http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx:1984/stream.html?src=flirr". I used the "RTC" and "MJPG" modes. HW: PFC200 750-8217/600-000. FW: v27. If anyone has a solution, could you help us?

It depends on your application which CPU speed and RAM size you need. If you think the Control Standard S license is sufficient then my guess is that your selected PC has no problem running your application. There are no more "hardware" based single licenses available anymore, only application based licenses. So this "Raspberry Pi" restriction for home automation is not applicable anymore. Hello Vincent, I don't have 75 channels but it works for me as described above without any problems. There is also a parameter MAX_MODBUS_CHANNELS in the library parameters for the IoDrvModbusTCP module. The default value there is 100. Perhaps you are reaching the limit there? The value can be adjusted accordingly. I assume that this value is not accepted in the input dialogue and therefore the 'fixed' limit value 10 is used.

It seems like a bug in FBD. Work-around: If you click on the small line between the box and the output variable and delete this, the variable is removed. When you then assign a variable again (Ctrl-A), then you will see that the line will be a bit longer. If you then select the previous variable, you will see that it works.

I ordered a cheap managed switch and tested it as soon as I received the switch. It works great! I even went a bit further. As you can see in the screenshot, I created 2 Codesys containers. Each one having 2 fieldbuses. The first one has EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP and the second one has EtherCAT and Modbus/TCP. All going through the same ethernet port from the PC to the switch. The switch splits it up into 4 different networks. The hardest part was to figure out how to configure the switch. @eschwellinger, thank you very much.

I am having the same problem. 'Update Raspberry PI' disappeared from the 'Tools' menu. Using RaspberryPI 3B+, Codesys V3.5 Sp21 + RaspberryPI Package 4.16. I installed the package as Administrator, executed Codesys as Administrator I also tried to connect using the deploy (even with ssh and everything enabled on the RaspberryPi I received password denied). I used in the past the same equipment with Codesys V3.5 Sp18 and RaspberryPI Package 4.08, it was really easy. (I also did a brand new RaspbianOs installation to make sure that nothing affect the connection). Anyone, knows how to fix it? Thanks,

Hello everybody I am new into Codesys. I have a stepper driver (EM3E-556E) from Leadshine. I want to controll the stepper driver via EtherCat to a ST programm but I dont have any function block or anything that i can use. I only have the XML-File wich I loaded. With it I implemented the drive as a Ethercat slave and now I see these variables. (See picture) I dont know how to controll the stepper drive. And the manufacturer doesnt provide support for me. Can anybody help me or atleast tell me how they would do it?

Ich würde gerne bestimmt Modbus RTU Slave Adressen auslesen, leider bekomme ich keine Werte vom Bus. Verbindung erfolgt über einen Raspberry mit Modbus RS485 Adapter, welcher erfolgreich verbunden ist. Mit einem IOBroker kann ich die Daten erfolgreich auslesen. In der Modbus_COM_Port => Modbus_Serial_Device habe ich Input Register 4000 %QW und Startadressen auf Input Register 3000, als Variable ein Array[0..2999] of Word, kann aber keine Werte auslesen.

Hi, I have project that worked during months. This one have targetvisu where I move between screens with a frame using the function flick/slide. The last weeks when i move sliding the screen freeze but the comutation tag of the frame continue registration the movements. The program continue working at the background but the screen freeze. the codemeter deb files are part of the runtime-sl-installatonfiles. so u can download the whole raspberry pi package from store-page, unzip it with a progam like 7zip, there you'll find a folder called dependencys i thing. here should the deb files placed

UDP has no packet ordering mechanism, and Modbus protocol has no order checking mechanism nor session establishment. I'm sorry but this is false, Modbus IP based have the Transaction Identifier. Transaction Identifier - It is used for transaction pairing, the MODBUS server copies in the response the transaction identifier of the request. Modbus UDP make more sense than Modbus TCP in a local environment.
