Hello, In Codesys I can't find where to configure Ethercat Master VLAN tagging? In Beckhoff in Infosys there is an attached image so you can see it... I would like to try ethercat master with VLAN, to try to have several ethercat masters on a single ethernet port... I imagine that managed VLAN switches are also necessary? Thanks.

I tried both 3B en 4. But every time with a lite version. I didn't try the full version of raspberry pi os. Nice to hear you are aware of the problem and trying to fix it. I'll hold on to the image from 2023-10-10 for now.

Same issue here: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B HW 1.5 Regardless of the image (tried 32bit / 64bit version from Raspberry Pi Imager- all the "standard version") and with all tested Codesys Control versions (4.2.0, 4.8.0, 4.10.0) and regardless if single core / multicore / 64 bit variant.

You have to install any libraries needed by the sample program. Click the button with ... next to one of the errors (see attached image,) then choose download missing libraries. Codesys should automatically locate and install the missing libraries, it's not flawless though, I've had some issues getting libraries to install. The best advice I can give if it doesn't work is re-install Codesys.

I am looking for some help with using Gifs in the WebVisu of codesys 3.5.18.40 as the model we tried with ladder logic does not animate the Gif and leaves as the first image of the Gif. Is there a way for ST or LL for it to be animated?

Seit dem Update auf die Version V3.5 SP19 Patch 5 von der Version V3.5 SP17 haben wir das folgende Problem. Wir möchten von einem Gerät die Lizenz speichern. Damit wir nach einem neuen Raspberry Pi image die gleiche Lizenz für dieses Gerät brauchen können. Die Lizenz ist Geräte spezifisch so viel ich weiss. Bei unseren Geräten bei den Kunden hat es nicht immer eine Internetverbindung.

Has anyone figured out a way to use the ethercat bus on a beckhoff CX using codesys running on linux? Using ethercat on the native NICs works fine but I get a "packet could not be sent" error when trying to scan the ethercat bus device. Errors and hardware in attached image.

No. As you can see in the uploaded image, in my test project, I have a variable list GVL_1 which is located in appication_1. But if I write in POU_2, which is instead found in application 2, I cannot find the variables of GVL_1. it seems that the GVLs are children of each app

Hello everyone, following corrupted data on the SD card of our Pi3B+ provided with a machine, we reinstalled a CODESYS image for Raspberry Pi, but we cannot find the 4.9.0.0 runtime that is compatible with the project. Currently, the machine is on 4.1.0.0, and we tried a more recent version 4.13.0.0, but there are error messages. Thanks in advance.

I have checked my BIOS to make sure my secure boot status is disabled, see attached image. when I go to component manager, the drop down menu doesnt have the new network adapter, see attached image. I had one RPI device where I could login. I copied the SD-flash over to another SC-flash. This new SD-flash was inserted in the new device. I can boot the new device but I cannot login why? How can I install an application on this new device? Hi, I have Proxmox running on a Rasperry 4 and have debian 12 ARM installed here. I wanted to install Codesys Control for Raspberry on it. According to the messages, the runtime environment and the gateway were installed successfully, but I can't find a device to downplay a program. The sudo service codesys start command fails. Hello, I am getting the following error and warning when trying to download a project into a PLC: - Library CmpTargetVisu has not been added to the Library manager, or no valid license could be found - Unkown type: 'CmpEventMgr.EventParam' As far as I can see, both are included, and licensed, in the library manager (see image). What could the problem be, and how would I resolve this?

Update, installed 3.5.19.70 with the same result. The error message is as useful as a chocolate fire guard. The container SN is in the 130-xxx range which should work. The Version, Chip, Rev number don't mean anything to me. There is no SD Card installed. I've also reinstalled a fresh Wago FW22 image, Deployed PFC200 SL and Edge for Linux, still the same result.

"There are no objects in the export file..." I am using SP21 Codesys IDE and I do not know which version this XML (*.export) file was previously exported with. Hello everyone. I have a problem: I installed new version of codesys IDE. When I try open project in this new version, I have many errors about Visu: rectalnge/button/frame/etc does not exist. How update properly project? 20+ pages of visu pages from 100+ frames and all visu elems looks like "Error image". It is not problem of SP20->SP21. Any update has problems from visu side.

When evaluating Codesys functionality, I found that the VPLC tab under Deploy Control SL > Operation > VPLCs is 'gray-ed out', see attached image. I'm trying to evaluate how my infrastructure will interact with Codesys on a Raspberry Pi 4, so I'm trying to demo running it. I was going through the Codesys tutorial here, and it never shows the tab as grey, so I do not know how to proceed. Let me know if I can get any additional information that can help.
