Hello, Maybe someone could help with this. When I add ENUM to a text field I get the number instead of the text. For my own ENUM variable I have declared and enabled text list value is displayed as text, but I need enum text displayed from softMotion and other internal FB's. In the picture I have one of desired ENUM variable setup, but in the visu I have number, but in the watch window it's text. There is probably some checkbox to tick, but was looking for an hour, can't find a solution. Would apreciate some help

Auf die Schnelle fällt mir keine Möglichkeit ein, wie die Webvisu aus dem WebBrowser heraus den PC auf dem der Browser läuft, direkt beeinflussen, sprich herunterfahren könnte. Die Webvisu ist ja letztlich nichts anderes, als eine HTML Seite, die im Browser angezeigt wird. Als einzige Lösung fällt mir der file transfer (Beispiel findest du hier https://content.helpme-codesys.com/de/CODESYS%20Examples/_ex_visu_logging_of_variable_value_changes-1799730.html) ein. Du könntest über einen Button in der Visu z.B. eine Datei shutdown.txt von der PLC an den IPC senden. Auf dem IPC müsste dann entsprechend ein Dienst laufen, der zyklisch schaut: Datei shutdown.txt vorhanden, wenn ja, Datei löschen und IPC herunterfahren. Viel Erfolg!

Hi, thanks for the link. Maybe I create elements in incorrect way. I always use Interface Editor to create variables which are used inside element (see pics). After that I place element in my visu and use Reference property to link variable or set the value. In that case the value of string is not transferred to general text list for translation as I mentioned before. Do I have to all properties which influence behavior of my element create in Frame configuration instead? What´s the difference to the Interface editor? Thanks a lot. M.

Hallo goodmorning, I am using codesys 3.5 sp19 with Weidmueller PLC. I created a page with several checkbox to manage an array of bool. When I build the project the system doesn't signal any error, when I go in simulation mode everything works until I click on checkbox to toggle the variables. Other visu elements works proprerly (e.g. bottons, lights, ect, ect) but the check boxes cause a crash giving the following error: Error while processing the visualization: Client id not present or no longer valid I serched to figure the problem out and to search a solution on the web but nothing. Hi, I am looking for a good way to update a decice remotely. The devices are distributed worldwide and have normally no connection to the internet. The CODESYS Automation Server can't help here. So I want to update the decices via USB stick. I have written my own code* to update the files that are created with ‘Create boot application’. But sometimes strange things happen: visu elements are present, but are not found the application is no longer registered and therefore no longer starts I have not yet found out why these errors occur. Has anyone had similar problems or found a better way? Is there perhaps a CODESYS library or something else? Many thanks! *the code deletes the directories on the device and copies the new directories from the USB stick while the system is running (goes without saying)

Goodmoning everyone, I hope a codesys tecnichian will see this post. I serched on the forum and I found many topic about this tool but very few reaplies. I am tring to use the Web Browser tool, but it doesn't seem to work properly. I put several links in several forms: https://google.com http://google.com/ http://www.google.com http://www.google.com/ http://www.studiojomega.it/ . . . https://192.168.1.101/u-os-app-codesys/application/visualization/webvisu.htm But I obtain always errors; mainly 400 and 404 and in the normal visu this message appears "www.Google.com has refuse the connection". Is the codesys browser able to work as every other browser or has it some limitation? There is some particular precaution to consider when I pass the link to the codesys browser? Hi bertus, I cannot see any problem in the code you posted. Just some ideas: What is the value of D_ANGLE_TOL? - Do you need the assignment bAbort := NOT bDecoder? Does it help to leave it out? Any errors (e.g. SMC_SmoothPath.Error/ErrorID) or PLC log messages? What if you comment out SMC_SmoothMerge and SMC_LimtiDynamics, is corner smoothing still not working? Is bDecode written from a different task (e.g. visu)? Then I would recommend to assign to a local variable (bDecodeLocal := bDecode) and use that for all FBs. Otherwise, FBs might see different values of bDecode in a single cycle, which will cause problems. Regards, Georg

Sorry for being late to the party... so it is not possible to use the webbrowser tool to display external websites in a visu anymore? As it is not possible to simply "adjust the ContentSecurityPolicyIncludeTrustedOrigins setting in the automatically generated webvisu.cfg.json file" as stated in the docs? We need to display data read from a Raspberry Pi (part of our computer network) in our webvisu. We used to do it by entering the Pi's IP address as the URL variable in the webbrowser element but now (I don't know since when, I'm new on the job) "The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource (frame-src) at 'IP address' because it violates the following directive: “default-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline'”. What are the options for displaying the data?

Hello, I would like to use swipe/pan gestures to scroll a table visualization element (CODESYS 3.5.21.10) ona DSE M810 display. The swipe / pan gesture control works fine, however, I cannot figure out how to reset / navigate to the top of the table again with code. I have tried the Scrolling begin variable, and the visu manager is setting it to FALSE right away but the table doesn't actually scroll back to top. If I check the “Scroll elements with scrollbar” box, then the Scrolling begin variable works perfectly, but now the swipe/pan scrolling no longer works and you have to use the scrollbar. Any assitence you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

I’m currently working on establishing a TLS connection with an MQTT broker using the MQTT Client SL package in CODESYS. While I’ve successfully established communication with the broker without TLS, I'm encountering issues when trying to enable TLS. In the 'MQTT Explorer' application, I can easily upload the server certificate (.crt), client certificate (.crt), and client key (.key). However, in CODESYS, I can’t find a way to upload my client key (.key file). Here's a summary of my current setup: Certificates: I have uploaded both the client and server certificates to the certificate store under the 'Trusted Certificates' folder in the security screen. TLS Context Initialization: Despite setting the _sCommonName as the name of my client certificate, a new self-signed certificate is created and placed within the device’s certificates. I then need to manually move this certificate to the trusted certificates folder. Good morning, I'm new on Codesys Forge, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to talk about my problem. When I open my WebVisu pages with Microsoft Edge, or Chrome, the background and also some rectangles blinking without reason!!! The application is developed with Codesys 3.5.17.10 and run on Codesys HMI, same version (3.5.17.10). After several experiments I discover that the problem happens when I made dynamic the "End of area" property of a meter object, but I can't understand why this blinking problem happens. Also, the problem is only at the WebVisu page, the "normal" VISU pages (the ones opened when Codesys HMI start) work always perfectly. Another strange thing is that the problem happens only if on the same page, where there is the meter object, there is also a trend object!?!? Codesys HMI is running on a Virtual Machine (VMware Workstation 15 player, v.15.5.6) running Windows 10 Pro N 64-bit. The blinking problem happen also if I convert the project to Codesys 3.5.20.0. This version of Codesys and Codesys HMI are installed on a Virtual Machine running Windows Server 2019 Standard 64-bit. In attachment the archive of my project. The attached project has only one page, if "Enable Counter" is not pressed the "End of area" variable of the meter is not updated in the software, and everything work well, normal VISU and WebVisu; if "Enable Counter" is pressed, the "End of area" variable of the meter is updated in the software, and the WebVisu page start blinking. I tried also to enable the "Support client animations and overlay..." property at VisualizationManager, this seems stop the blinking problem, but that property also destroy my WebPage, moving almost all the graphical object, that also seem not working anymore. I really need help to understand what I'm doing wrong, I have to develop a bigger project and I have to understand if trend objects and animated meters cannot stay in the same page. In the final project the WebVisu will be very important because the customer will use this way to access the application to monitor the process. Regards

Hello, i need to create an application that uses 2 masters, with 2 different ratios, and it outputs in one single slave. I explain better: Imagine axis A, B and C. -Axis A is the slave. -Axis B is master of A, with a specific ratio. -Axis C is master of A, with a specific ratio. the result motion from B and C should be executed by A, proportionally in position and ratios from B and C. With standard softmotion libraries (MC_...) it is not possible (i couldn't) because it is allowed only one master with its ratio. I have made a similiar application in past, using MoveOverGear in order to synch gears before engage. Instead this time, i need to do a gear over gear application, using 2 different masters. The position have to be the sum of both masters (considering their ratios). Any clue about how to do it? Or were to find some FB that can do it?

dear all I am working on a very generic gantry system (virtual drives + win v3 control) reading gcode from external file. In order to stop the interpolator function from running when gaps are detected, SMC_controlAxisByPos FB has the bStopIpo output which according to the manual is connected to the Interpolator's bEmergencyStop. Lets assume that the axis are parked in position X1000 Y1000 and the initial G code movement is G00 X500 Y500. The normal behavior is to travel from the actual x1000 y1000 to G00 X500 Y500. The SMC_Interpolator always gets the X0 Y0 as the initial position, meaning that the bStopIpo is active until the axis are in X0 Y0 and the release the interpolator to set the new positions to X500 Y500. Is there a suggested method to solve this behavior? bonus question: I get a lot of bStopIpo during standard interpolation movements (not gaps). While working with virtual axis this is not a problem but when real axis are installed this will be an issue. What exactly triggers the bStopIpo output? Slow axis accelerations compare to Gcode defaults? Kind Regards

Hi Duvan, You could make this in 1 single object (FB), Indeed don't use a function for this beacuse you need some memory to keep the old value. I am adding elements of an ARRAY using pointer to access each element inside a FOR loop and the FOR loop does not stop! What is the right way to use pointers in such case?? Hi all, I am using CoDeSys V3.5 and a soft controller Win V3x64. I am trying to read a modbus slave via Function Blocks and not via the channels of the hardware tree for the Slave. I created some requests of type ModbusRequest and I notice that I can read Input Registers and Coils but I can not write Holding Registers and Coils. I am using the library IoDrvModbusTCP 4.1.0.0. When i just use a single modbus request with FC06 (or FC16), there is no request sent to the slave and although the xExecute takes its true value from a pulse of 2 seconds duration, I take almost every 3 minutes an error "TCP_COMMUNICATION_ERROR - 16#A5 - TCP Port. error. Request was not sent". My code is ok because if i change the function code for reading registers, everything works fine. Did anyone have this issue in the past? Thank you in advance.

It sounds like your TLS setup is basically correct, since the handshake works via OpenSSL, so the issue is likely on the CODESYS side rather than the certificates themselves. From what I’ve seen with the Azure IoT Hub Client SL library, you should double-check that the SAS token is actually being generated and passed correctly to the function blocks (especially wsDeviceSaS) and that the MQTT/HTTPS FB is really triggered cyclically-otherwise the controller won’t initiate the connection at all. Also, make sure DNS, time (NTP), and full certificate chain trust are properly configured on the controller, since IoT Hub authentication depends on them even when using SAS tokens. Another thing worth checking is the library/runtime version-there are reports that certain versions changed behavior and caused connection issues. I’d recommend starting with the official demo project (AzureMQTTDemo) and comparing it step by step with your setup to see what’s missing or not triggered. Speed Stars

Hallo Zusammen, gibt es in CODESYS bei Ablaufsteuerungen weitere Möglichkeiten außer den AS-Einstellungen z.B. die Aufbaustruktur der Ablaufsteuerung herauszufinden? Gesamtanzahl der verwendeten Aktionen / Schritte - Im besten Fall auch die einzelnen Verzweigungen? Ich würde den gesamten Aufbau der Schrittkette gerne als "View" in einer übergeordneten Software abbilden lassen, da sich die Ablaufsteuerungen, je nach Projekt im Aufbau unterscheiden bräuchte ich die Kenntniss über den Aufbau dieser Schrittketten. Oder müsste ich mir hier einen "Workaround" programmieren, der z.B. bei Init erstmal den Aufbau der Ablaufsteuerung durchläuft und mir die nötigen Informationen liefert? Natürlich wäre auch ein Weg den Aufbau des AS-Bausteins über die PLCopen XML zu exportieren, jedoch müsste dies bei Änderungen jeweils nachgezogen werden - was etwas unschön wäre, falls dies vergessen würde. Mittlerweile habe ich auch das Tool "SFC Visu Generator" gefunden, dessen Funktion im Prinzip genau das darstellt, was ich benötige - jedoch leider nur als CODESYS interne Visualisierung. Ich würde den Export des Bausteins gerne in meine übergeordnete Software implementieren. Gibt es hier die Möglichkeit das Vorgehen zu Erfahren oder den vom Baustein generierten Export bei mir zu implementieren? Hat hier jemand sowas ähnliches schonmal gelöst?
