Yes, either adding in the CODESYSContro_User.cfg because the driver will no longer appear in the list or type the name from the documentation in the configuration and when the gray check mark appears, the driver is also installed. It is just not selectable anymore.

I had similar issues with the OnDialogClosed not being called. I realized that this behaviour is resolved, when the according visualization object on which the input configuration is set is moved to the foreground. Somehow, the object has to be one of the lowest elements in the Element List (i.e. in the foreground) for it to work.

Now I try run the same application but only new runtime but serial ports doesnt works: I have two serial: /dev/ttyACM0 - RS485 /dev/ttyACM1 - RS232 and below configuration in my sudo nano /etc/CODESYSControl_User.cfg: [SysCom] Linux.Devicefile=/dev/ttyACM But it doesnt work. what can i do ?

Yup, I've been having the exact same issue. A workaround that was working until Visu 4.8.0.0 was using TextList as the type in the frame configuration and then wrapping the text in quotes when configuring it. Im not sure if it will work with variables and I know it does not work if the type is text.

Ok, this is how I made a numeric text field: use a Text Field properties -> Texts -> Text := %f (or %d or whatever you need) properties -> Text variables -> Text variable := (your numeric variable) properties -> Input configuration -> OnMouseDown -> Configure: Write Variable Input type := VisuDialogs.Numpad Use another variable (your numeric variable) Min val Max val etc. Please tell me there is an easier way to do this.

I'm Having the same issue. If I highlight PLC Logic and import it erases everything else and replaces the Task config. If I highlight the Application I get the same result. Simple manual fix is click and drag the task config onto the origional Application, and delete the second one. Easy fix but not the expected result of importing task config.

U can view it at devicetree in the node-element diagnostic from modbus-configuration. u also can activate the function auto-reconnect in master and increase a little bit the timeout and the repetition to male thw communication a little bit more robust

Hi, we did install the real-time kernel patch on the RPI and also performed the additional optimizations including isolating the cores. Changing the configuration of the planning task e.g. running it on a separate core, changing the cycle times and mode from cyclic to freewheeling did not show any improvements.

Hi All, I finally figured out how to solve it. The only away that I got it to work was to define parity to None on modbus configuration, and now works like a charm. Just for the record I'm using the GPIO port pins (8,10) and a RS485 to ttl shield that you can find online. Thanks all for the support! Regards Ricardo

Hi there, I am getting troubles with a project. In the Hardware configuration I got some Lenze drives 9400. One of them got as status " Module not Found". Connection are good. ID Node of the Canopen network is also good. I don't find any reason for this status, nor any options to check.

Interested. I can see the EL6633 Profinet Controller can be added in Codesys to the EK1914 or EK1100, and then ProfiSafe devices can be added as the F-DI8/F-DQ3 ET200eco PN. Im unsure how to configure the telegram to the EL6910. Have you been able to make this configuration? EL6910 Manual shows a way but only using TwinSafe.

Hi blitz, that usually means that the modulo period, when converted to increments, is larger than 2^31. (The bus bandwidth is usually 2^32.) What is your "technical unit", do you program in angular degrees? And what is the modulo period? Hi all. I am currently struggling to get my Wago PFC200 running the Codesys Runtime in version 4.9.0.0 working. I am using Codesys V3.5SP19. I updated the PFC200 to the firmware version 04.01.10(23) after having tried the latest version (04.03.03(25) from Wago and not being able to start the runtime. After reading version 23 was needed, I changed to that and at least was able to have it start the codesys runtime. I also installed the "Codesys Control for PFC200 SL 4.9.0.0" plugin for Codesys to install the Codesys runtime in version 4.9.0.0 as well as update the Gateway on the device. While I seem to be able to connect to the gateway on the PLC (the dot is green) and when doing a scan, I do now find my PFC200, which is a huge improvement to before, where with firmware version 25 it just failed to start the runtime and I never found any device when doing a scan. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to connect to the PLC in codesys. I logged in via SSH and changed the password and I can see that this password is correct as the stuff in the Codesys PFC200 tools tab only works if I use my changed password. And I used those credentials to update the installed Runtime version, which the log claimed to have worked fine. Now whenever I try to connect to the device found in the scan, I get a authentication pop-up with empy device name, device address: 000A. As User I use "root" and as password the password that I changed it to. As a response I just get "Ungültige Benutzerauthentifizierung auf dem Gerät" (Eng. probably something like "Invalid user authentication on the device". What could I be doing wrong? Admittedly I'm a bit lost here :-/ Chris

Hello good morning everyone I would like to ask a question, is it possible to directly connect a device that only contains modbus RTU communication through an R-45 connector, directly to the PC? Or would you need an intermediate device to achieve communication? It would be of great help to me because I cannot achieve communication between the Codesys simulator plc and a Fuji Frenic mini VFD, please help me if anyone has had the same experience. You will need a USB to RS485 converter to connect the PC to the Modbus RTU Slave Device. In Windows this converter will be recognized as Serial COM poort (e.g. COM2, or COM3, see the windows device manager to find this out). Select this port in your CODESYS application. On the PC you need to use the CODESYS Control Win (SoftPLC) to run your application. It will not work in simulation mode, because then the Modbus Communication will not be activated.
