Hello, I use Codesys RTE 3.5.16.5. If I connect to the PLC I often get the following message: (see printscreen) 1. Channel timeout CMpChannelMgr. 2. Closing connection CmpChannelMgr. Can you tell me, what the meaning of this is? What does the number 1250030,1220020 resp. c400:0a0a:015a:0301 refer to? I could find any information in the online help. Thanks a lot.

Has anyone figured out a way to use the ethercat bus on a beckhoff CX using codesys running on linux? Using ethercat on the native NICs works fine but I get a "packet could not be sent" error when trying to scan the ethercat bus device. Errors and hardware in attached image.

Hello, I'm trying to use FILE.Open to open file that exists in the given location. sFileName is formed from "Copy as path" in Windows. So I'm sure file exists and it is in the given location. And still, I get thiss denied error. What could be the problem here? Attached is a screenshot with current implementation.

Thanks for info... However, I changed the directory to: C:\ProgramData\CODESYS\CODESYSControlWinV3x64\58719825\PlcLogic\Recipes It still displays the content of this folder OK, however still will not write or read files. Is this the PLCLogic area you speak of? I also tried adding this path the the CodesysControl.cfg file. But still can't get it to work. Any additional direction would be appreciated!

Hello, I'm using th IDE Combivis studio 6 (codesys based) and I get an error message when I use IO-link. "The license is missing or invalid. The API is running in demo mode." However the package Manager indicates that no licence is required. It used to work, it seems that the free package has become a paying one. Can Codeys confirm this? BR

I've been making few HMIs and I'm starting to get annoyed that whenever I try to align an object to the left or top side of the frame, it quickly scrolls into that direction infinitely. Is there a way to prevent that?

Hi bertus, thanks for the additional information. Setting bAbort on a restart is not needed. Calling all FBs starting from the decoder up to checkvelocities with bExecute = FALSE and then giving a new rising edge on bExecute is what should be done. Do you also restart the Interpolator? Here I have attached the task monitor data. What is very weird is that I am using MC__MoveDirectAbsolute FB, when I choose Vel/ACC/Jerk Factor to 1.0 it run fine. It ran 10 hours without the issue. But I get the error randomly when I use factor as 0.5

Hi @bertus I have a similar situation: just like in your case I can see that rounding works correctly only for the first element, additionally in my case on a path made of lines where I am testing this every second line is skipped. The interpolator jumps to every second iActObjectSourceNo.

for the package you net to install 32bit support(to have the native timprovider availble to deploy) sudo apt-get install libc6:i386 Then native Safeplc and native Safetimeprovider should be available to install. Raspi yes - but there is no official package available till now and you need have a rt_preemt patched kernel on the Pi, then it works like charm

Codesys - SMC_ERROR SMC_CGR_INVALID_POSPERIOD - Invalid modulo period less than or equal to zero or greater than half the bus bandwidth. Has anyone seen this error and actually understands what it means and how to get rid of it? I tried to work around it by reducing the number of increments on the drive but then the drive itself starts throwing errors.

Hi! I´ll try to get this thread going again as i´m having simliar problems. Right now i get a red triangle on my connected devices (i´m testing with a BME280 sensor and a PCA9685 resvo driver). The TCA9548 have the green symbol beside it. On the "red" devices i get that the bus is not running. I have tried to either run it using the parent bus cycle setting or creating a new freewheeling task prio 1 but nothing helps. I have compared my settings to the settings from the example from the MUX package and i have read (i think) every thread in forge that could be of interest. EDIT: The ic2detect only shows the mux (70-70) and the servo drive (70-76) so i´ll look in to if i managed to burn the 280-sensor while soldering). Another question regarding the 280 sensor. I have a sensor GY-BM E/P 280 that should record humidity and temperatur. Could this be a problem with the library? Does anyone have an idea of what i might be doing wrong? I have some experience from Codesys but not much so this could be an easy one. All suggestions are welcome. I tried to upload the project archive but it did not work. Should i upload the export or how could i show you my horrible project? Best, Martin

I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but getting the CurrentUserGroupID like this will not work, because there could be multiple Visualization Clients and each can have a different user that is logged in. Also when you go online with CODESYS and open an Visualization, this is counted as a client. Probably this is the reason you see it changing. What you can to is "iterate" over all clients and then see which user is logged in on which visualization Client. For this you need to add the Visu Utils library to the project and call the FbIterateClients. See https://content.helpme-codesys.com/en/libs/Visu%20Utils/4.4.0.0/VisuUtils/VisuActionUtilities/Function-Blocks/FbIterateClients.html fbClientIteration( xExecute := x_Execute, itfClientFilter := VU.Globals.AllClients, itfIterationCallback := fbIterator, xDone => x_Done, xBusy => x_Busy, xError => x_Error, eError => e_Error); The fbIterator, in the example above, should be an instance of an FB which you have created yourself and this must implement VU.IVisualizationClientIteration. I'm having some troubles with this same issue and I'm wondering if someone can help me out. On a settings visual I allow the operator to enter some values however if they activate the page change button it will change the change with the Numpad dialog open. Since I'm using Visuelems.CURRENTVISU to change the pages I came across this code noted below for determining if the Numpad dialog was active. This code worked great however now in 3.5.19 it's now obsolete. I've tried following the directions in the attached program above however I can't see to get it to work in my program. Can anyone provide some help to determine if a dialog is open?
