I saved it as the same project but in a different location. I opened this "new project". I clicked on the "Direct Login from Automation Builder" button. It automatically directed me to CODESYS, where I was able to create the "Create Boot Project" but first I also clicked login again but inside CODESYS keeping the automation builder login online. Additional Information: The "Create Boot Project" function in CODESYS is used to create a project that will automatically start when the controller is booted up. To create a boot project, you must first create a new project in CODESYS. Once you have created a new project, you can then use the "Create Boot Project" function to create a boot application. The "Create Boot Project" function will create a new application that is based on the current project. The new application will be saved in the same location as the current project. You can then download the new application to the controller.

If my application does some kind of violation which makes it cast an exception it will trigger my real watchdog which results in a reboot. Unfortunately the log it seems only shows the boot sequence. Is it possible to see what happen before reboot?

System information - Controller: KUNBUS RevPi CONNECT-S - OS: Linux buster 32bit 5.10.103-rt62-v7l #1 SMP PREEMPT_RT armv7l GNU/Linux - CODESYS v3.5 SP19 Patch 2 I'm facing a problem related to codesys licences using a procedure based on a bash script. Such bash script detect the presence of new .deb files and install them on system. My automation solution don't allow to be maintained by dedicated personal, thus even the CODESYS runtime SW must be installed using an "automatic" procedure instead of using the CODESYS tool. remark I've been using the following procedure since the runtime v4.5 without any issue. Before installing the new runtime packages, I need to copy the file CODESYSControl_User.cfg (here attached) because of new section which is necessary to add in order to allow some folders to be written by CODESYS runtime v4.9 Up to now, this has been unnecessary, this is the main difference between my previos bash file and the new one. remark If I skip this action, everythings goes fine, but my CODESYS application can't work as it needs to access some folders on controller's file system. I am using CODESYS v3.5 SP20 Patch 3 / Control for BeagleboneBlack SL v4.13 and after some time the OPC UA Server crashes. However, Runtime still works without any issues. The events leading up to the OPC server crash are the most suspicious: 1) Mutex deadlock detected - owner thread died, and 2) Runtime received SIGABRT. And it seems very similar with this topic except used versions - issues should be fixed with previous SP's. I can't seem to find any information about these events. Need some pointers in the right direction on how I can fix this problem.

Hi I try to get korean texts out of a textlist. For that I want to use DynamicTextGetTextW, but I am a little confused how it is supposed to work. The function returns POINTER TO STRING, but how do I get WSTRING? I succesfully used DynamicTextGetText with classical Strings. Thanks in advance!

I have a raspberry pi trying to add encoder to it using that free encoder node. I simply dont understand where the encoder channel A/B suppoded to be mapped when i got to I/O mapping on encoder I get nothing to where to set the channels for the encoder or is there any blocks from a library or how is it that you use an encoder with Codesys it doesn't seem clear at all

I want to implement an extended I2C master for Raspberry Pi Control. I was hoping for it to be as easy as creating a library with a FB that extends i2cMaster and associating it with a device following the forge drivers documentation, but I haven't managed to make it work as the driver behaves only as an i2c slave. I'm thinking this is because the forge forum only talks about extending i2c, and the master portion is omitted since most users won't want to add a custom one. I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong. Is it really possible to make an I2C master extension device? If so, are there public examples we can check out? Any info on this topic will be appreciated.

I am trying to create an icon on an overview screen that depicts if an alarm group has active alarms, active acknowledged alarms, or inactive unacknowledged alarms (waiting for confirmation). I've attempted to set up Notification Actions in the Alarm Class to set variables based on state changes but have been unable to find a clean and effective way to do this. Because an action on any alarm will trigger the variable to be set as instructed, I'm struggling to find a way to configure it for what I need (ie if two alarms activate, then one deactivates, the variable for indicating an alarm is active would be cleared after the single deactivation). I've been pointed toward the Alarm Manager example project but I'm finding it too complicated to understand how to implement it in my own project. Has anyone come up with another good way to indicate the states of alarms or a simpler usage of the Alarm Manager functions?
