Hi guys, I have been trying to use web browser element in the visualisation to connect with my IP camera. From the past few weeks, I have not been successful of doing it. I thought it would be very easy to just connect to the ip address, but apparantly it is not. I am using WAGO PLC PFC200 and my PC as a webvisu. or else can you guys please advice me on which kind of camera should I use as a CCTV system in my project instead of IP Camera. would be great to have such fucntionality. Sometimes it is not clear for user which elemetns are blocked and which are not - the greyed out eleemtns are not so different for low resolution / low quality screeens. What I have in my mind as well is to have a possibility to detect the visu Element clicked on and get its Access Rights. If it is blocked/deactivated, the dialog can be rised with INFO 'please login first with proper rights'. It is possible now to have a Mose event Handler ( Examples -> EventHandler) and rise the dialog out of ST (Exapmpals -> ST Dialogs). I am struggling still with getting the separate Visu Element under the mouse and its structure info

Hello, I would like to use swipe/pan gestures to scroll a table visualization element (CODESYS 3.5.21.10) on a DSE M810 display. The swipe / pan gesture control works fine, however, I cannot figure out how to reset / navigate to the top of the table again with code. I have tried the Scrolling begin variable, and the visu manager is setting it to FALSE right away but the table doesn't actually scroll back to top. If I check the “Scroll elements with scrollbar” box, then the Scrolling begin variable works perfectly, but now the swipe/pan scrolling no longer works and you have to use the scrollbar. Is it possible to do what I've described? Any assitence you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

Setup: Net Base Services (NBS), TCP_Client + TLSContext, ePurpose := CLIENT_SIDE, connecting to a third-party embedded device (Velux KLF200 home automation gateway) whose factory-installed TLS certificate expired on 2026-07-12 and has no user-facing renewal path. Tested on both CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL (3.5.19.0) and CODESYS Control Win V3 x64, with identical results on both. Goal: Accept the peer's expired certificate via a custom ICertificateVerifier implementation, since the certificate itself can never be replaced. Implementation: FUNCTION_BLOCK FB_MyCertVerifier IMPLEMENTS NBS.ICertificateVerifier VAR udiCallCount : UDINT; aeCurStateLog : ARRAY[0..9] OF NBS.RTS_IEC_RESULT; END_VAR METHOD VerifyCertificate : UDINT VAR_INPUT hCert : NBS.RTS_IEC_HANDLE; eCurState : NBS.RTS_IEC_RESULT; END_VAR IF udiCallCount < 10 THEN aeCurStateLog[udiCallCount] := eCurState; END_IF udiCallCount := udiCallCount + 1; VerifyCertificate := 0; // also tried: VerifyCertificate := eCurState; Wired in via tlsContext.itfCertVerifer := certVerifier at declaration time, alongside itfTLSContext := tlsContext set at TCP_Client's own declaration (per an earlier forum thread here on ensuring inline start-values on FB-typed variables are actually honored when nested one level deep - that fix was needed and worked correctly for getting the handshake to start at all). Observed: - VerifyCertificate is confirmed called exactly once per connection attempt (via the call counter above). - eCurState passed in = 0x709 = ERR_CERT_HAS_EXPIRED - correctly reflecting the actual state of the peer's certificate. - Packet capture confirms the full TLS 1.2 handshake completes correctly at the wire level: ClientHello -> ServerHello -> Certificate -> ServerKeyExchange -> ServerHelloDone -> our ClientKeyExchange/ChangeCipherSpec/Finished -> server's ChangeCipherSpec/Finished. Both sides successfully complete the cryptographic handshake. - Despite this, TCP_Client.Upgrade() subsequently returns NBS.ERROR.CONNECTION_ERROR, and the connection is torn down with a plain TCP FIN (not a TLS alert) roughly 7-8ms after our side ACKs the server's Finished message. - TCP_Client.eErrorID (inherited from LCon) remains NO_ERROR throughout - the failure is only visible via Upgrade()'s return value. - Returning 0 (ERR_OK/ERR_CERT_OK - confirmed via the CmpErrors2 Interfaces documentation that these are literally the same value) makes no difference. - Echoing eCurState back unchanged (on the theory that this callback might work like mbedTLS's native verify callback, where the incoming state is a flags value to be cleared/modified and returned, rather than paired with a separate fixed "accept" sentinel) also makes no difference. - Identical result across udiVerificationMode := 0, 1, and 2. - Importing the peer's certificate into the runtime's trusted certificate store via cert-import trusted makes no difference either. - With itfCertVerifer left at its default (no custom verifier) and udiVerificationMode := 2, the underlying engine sends its own fatal TLS alert (handshake_failure) immediately after receiving the peer's Certificate message - suggesting built-in validation may reject at the record layer independent of whether a custom verifier is even present. Questions: 1. Is there an additional step required for a custom ICertificateVerifier to actually override an ERR_CERT_HAS_EXPIRED (or more generally, any ERR_CERT_*) rejection, or is certificate validation enforced unconditionally for a CLIENT_SIDE TLSContext regardless of what the verifier returns? 2. Is 0/ERR_OK genuinely the correct "accept" return value for VerifyCertificate, or does it expect something else (a specific bit pattern, a different constant, a value that must be computed from hCert itself)? 3. Is there a supported way to connect to a peer presenting a certificate that is both self-signed and expired, short of the peer issuing a new certificate? Happy to share the full packet captures or additional test combinations if useful. Also worth noting for anyone finding this thread later: a maintained Node-RED library for this same device (node-red-contrib-velux-klf200, forked to handle this exact expired-certificate situation) solves it by disabling built-in TLS validation entirely (rejectUnauthorized: false) and doing fingerprint-based pinning by hand after the handshake completes, rather than relying on a validation callback - which may be the more realistic approach here too if ICertificateVerifier genuinely can't override this class of rejection. Thanks in advance /Jørgen Disclosure: most of the CODESYS code and this investigation was developed with the help of Claude (Anthropic's AI assistant) - the state machine design, SLIP/checksum implementation, and debugging methodology (including the packet capture analysis) were worked through in an extended back-and-forth with it. Posting here because we've run out of self-serviceable options and this now looks like it needs input from someone with visibility into NBS's actual implementation.

I was trying to use repair function in installer but this is not helping at all. Wonder if anyone experience this behaviour? Thanks Georg for responding. I have followed the suggestion mentioned in the real time problem. However, it does not solve the problem. The weird part is, the robot stops at the same position randomly and it does not stop when I increase the speed of the motion.

Nope! The file path is $$PlcLogic$$ and NOT $$PLCLogic$$. Otherwise a new folder ('PLCLogic') is created (at least with a linux rt - like raspberry or compute module) with the new file in it if you open the file with eFileMode := FILE.MODE.MRDWR. That is a bad bug that I'll report right after this comment.

I am looking to read in the absolute position of a yaskawa servo drive Sigma 7 that is using absolute encoder. It looks like yaskawa outputs this across there CN1 I/O connecter and during operation just outputs encoder pulses. But at boot up transmits the Multiturn data position and the Position within one rotation (pulse train) on two different wires. Once the drives are enabled it just uses incremental pulses. Does any one have experience with what IEC blocks to use to read this information in. I attached the Yaskawa Manual section that talks about the format.

I want to extract each element of an Array. Can someone help me with this. When I use JSONElementToString (part of JSON Utilities SL), I am seeing output as "ARRAY" instead of actual data. Hello everyone, i'm having some problems commanding AS1060 step motor with EL7041 (rev22) drive. With motor i've also the incremental encoder (05.2420.1230.0200.5009). I can correctly move the motor in "Position controller" operating mode with the internal counter. The problems start when i set the Encoder in feedback type or i change the operating mode. Does anyone have experience with these two terminals and can give me some advice of main parameters to check or change? Thanks everyone

How can I have an BOOL variable that is read/write in both modbus TCP server and from OPC UA at the same time? Variables with %MX.n %QX.n addressing which is used for BOOL/coils in modbus server is not allowed in OPC UA symbol list on Schneider M251 controllers. I have already asked on Schneiders forum but there are not a lot of codesys experts over there :( So OPC symbols can't have a address and the modbus TCP server needs a address. So how should I do it then? It seems like an impossible combination. Since I want read/write access from both ways I can't just simply make a second variable and assign it the value of another since it would be a one way assignment. I also tried using VAR_CONFIG which then makes the address syntax %Q or %M in my main variable list and that fools OPC UA Symbol Configuration to allow it and then I add the complete %MX.n address of it in the VAR_CONFIG list. This semi works, I can toggle the BOOL from modbus but the OPC UA symbol seems to be read only. It displays symbol status but nothing happens when I toogle it. I think I need another way to have the variables and symbols pointing to the same bits in memory... My plan B is to write a BOOL array compare FB that saves a history bit from previous cycle and if that does not match current status at next cycle for either the OPC symbol or the modbus variable then it copies the new status over to the other. Maybe ugly but it's like my last alternative. Kind regards David

I just had the same problem in 3.5 SP19 Patch 6. Trying to use a textlist for Combobox Integer element. The textlist cannot be selected in the IDE, and is not found when manually entering the name. The textlist is copied to the device, but is not used. Can confirm, that copying an existing textlist and renaming it does work.
