Hi, Would really appreciate your insights in this issue I have. I am currently using a WAGO 750-881 with multiple IO devices. For one of them I already occupied the MODBUS Master configuration tool so I cannot overwrite it for my other devices. I have a total of two serial interfaces WAGO 750-652. The first one is instantiated in COM2 and doesn't need any protocol since the information comes in an specific formatting that need little code to differentiate between needed info. This one is working just fine. The second one is where I have an issue. I have tried to instantiate the port using MODBUS library modb_L05.lib to properly receive the data from an ARDUINO and I am absolutely unable to open the port: Signal DEVICE2.fbModbus.MODBUS_EXT_MASTER.Interface.Com_Port_Ist_Offen is never TRUE, among with all other signals from that interface, while signal DEVICE1.COM2.Com_Port_Ist_Offen is TRUE, and the other signals also read as TRUE or FALSE. I have tried instantiating the second one as the first one, changing COM3 to COM4, I've tried a lot of things but it wont ever open the channel. I don't know if you have any recommendations for me. For both physical modules, both witness LEDs A and E are on. Summary: When a curve's Data X/Data Y is bound to a two-dimensional array, the element treats the last array dimension as the per-point record (the one selected by "Element to use") and iterates the first dimension as the sequence of curve points. The online documentation's worked example has the dimensions in the opposite order, so following it produces a non-functional curve and a nonsensical "Element to use" list. Steps to reproduce (fails — matches the documented layout): 1. Declare aData : ARRAY[0..1, 0..4095] OF LREAL; (2 data sets × 4096 points, i.e. first dimension = set, second = point). 2. After some more digging I realized that I get an error on the PLC Logger saying PersistenceChannel: 150 (invalid type in data: SimpleLibrary). I suppose the issue could be found in the ConfigData, which is automatically generated and which looks like this: 1 9##83 SimpleLibrary#GVL.aMoreZeros.[1]#0#64512#15#0 <[2]#0#64520#15#0 <[3]#0#64528#15#0 <[4]#0#64536#15#0 <#0#64544#15#0 <[6]#0#64552#15#0 <<lrVar#0#64560#15#0 <strVar#0#64428#16#80 <uiDummy#0#64370#11#0 Perhaps the fact that the variable is stored within a library confused the compiler? I tried changing the PersistenceChannel parameters to xCompressTags := FALSE which changed the entry in the data file from _xCompressTags BOOL:TRUE _xCompressTags BOOL:FALSE but the actual content of the data file and also the config data did not change.

..strange just switching of this device without graceful Linux OS shutdown? Reset orgin on the device tree and a new download of the application will bring it up and running again but sure then the persistent data are for sure lost.

Hi everyone, is there a way to programmatically clear the cache of the Data Source Manager in CODESYS so that variable values are re-synchronized from the OPC UA server (Symbol Configuration with OPCUA features)? Alternatively, is it possible to trigger a manual synchronization of data source variables from within the application code at runtime? Here’s the situation: A variable is first written by the OPC UA client to the server in one state of a state machine and changes to another state – so the initial communication works. Later, the server changes the variable value, but the client does not receive or reflect the updated value, unless the variable is actively written again. I’m looking for a way to force the client (data source manager) to re-read or refresh the variable state from the server, possibly by clearing the internal cache or triggering a sync. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
