Hi all, I want to ask, how do I write code to read multiple address for Ethernet IP communication protocol? Because this multiple address will produce one reading of a sensor that I am currently using. Hi, CODESYS Control Standard S + CODESYS Visualization L, CODESYS Control for Beaglebone 4.11.0.0, CODESYS V3.5 SP20 + (64-bit) I have problem that license manager say that this device is not supported when i try active whole license. When I select only runtime and communication it is go next step, but then I no have license on in Visualistion section, all of rest of software metric licese is ok(IO, Istances of com et, code size etc.). I have been trying to set an array value to a JSON structure of this form: {"key": [1,2,3,4]} While I have been able to create the key and set its value to an empty array, I've not had any luck in putting any value in that array. objindex:= fb_JBuilder.SetKeyWithArray("Key6", diParentIndex := diRootIndex); objindex2:= fb_JBuilder.SetValue(value:= iValue2, diParentIndex:= objindex); iValue2: ARRAY[0..3] OF INT:= [1,2,3,4]; The two lines of code above produce {"key6": []} . The second line essentially has no effect.

Hello, This is an old topic but it might help. This can/should be solved by either of the solution below 1. disabling the "Support client animations and overlay of native elements" option in the visualization Manager (which is handy) 2. disabling the "Hardware acceleration" of the browser. Saw it happening on some clients/PC and on other it works fine with the same webvisu... (Version 3.5.19.20 with visu package 4.4.0.0) Hopefully it will be fixed it in a next release. I haven't tested the 4.5.0.0 visu packages yet. RP,

Hello, I'm new here so if I do something wrong please bare with me. I am using raspberry pi touchscreen made by comfile (CPi-C070WR4C). I also have a window 11 pc where I would like to have a second visualisation, but when I run a TargetVisu with it, all elements of the visualisation end up in the top left corner stacked on top of each other. I have same results running targetVisu on my laptop. Maybe someone had same issues and know the solution? Simas

Hello, same issue after a fresh install with CODESYS 64 3.5.21.30, on two different PCs Win10 and Win11. But with different Plug-In errors. CODESYS 64 3.5.19.70 runs after a lot of Package deinstallation/installation handling. But every think looks not really stable. Deinstallation of MS C++ and MS Runtime stuff -> CS installation. Than deinstallation of CodemMaster for anti freezing CS.

Create an array of STRING and 1 INT variable, e.g.: asMyString : ARRAY[0..9] OF STRING; iIndex : INT; Then place a "Table" object in the visualization: - link this to the string array variable. - Check the option "Use Template" - Then in the Input Configuration - add the "Write Variable" command Somewhere else add a "Combobox, array" - link this to the same array. - And link the index to the INT variable. In the Combobox, you can then select one of the strings from the array. The index variable will indicate which selection has been made.

Dears. Until now, I have been using CNC libraries with Codesys 3.5SP11. I was using SMC_Polynomial_AbsMaxLocs function, from CNC library, to calculate the axis jerks, interpolating splines, to limit it. Now I have passed to SP20, and the functions which calculates the zeros and the maximum-minimum and zeros of polynomials has been disapeared. Questions: -Exist any FB wich can limit the jerk of individual axis in CNC? -Exist any other functions which can calculate max-min and zeros of polynomials? Thanks

Installing codesys has been the biggest point of frustration for me and is the reason I'm currently working on building a VM just for the codesys engineering software so once I get a working installation I can copy the VM to new workstations instead of fighting with the installer every time I get a workstation upgrade. The best advice I've gotten in the past is to uninstall everything and start over, this is successful 50% of the time. Also don't install the latest version it's usually less stable than an older one ironically.

Hello, I’m encountering the same issue. I only receive these errors when downloading to the PLC—there are no errors during the build—after upgrading to CODESYS 3.5.21.10. Dear Forum, When using a online-change I often get the following message: No Bootproject possible in this state: application out of memory. Perform full download first. I'm using Codesys virtual control for linux SL running on a docker server with plenty of memory available, therefore I’m not expecting a hardware limitation. Is there a setting available to for example reserve more memory, so the controller is not that quick out of memory? thank you in advance. Alex

I have omitted this part to keep the example focused on the CSV writing routine. The function blocks are triggered and managed by a separate state machine. I am not sure what the correct approach is in this case, especially since the official documentation recommends using SIZEOF() for szSize. I will attach my code and a screenshot of the generated CSV showing the issue. Has anyone experienced something similar or could suggest the correct way to write a changing STRING to a CSV file using CAA.File.Write?

I have omitted this part to keep the example focused on the CSV writing routine. The function blocks are triggered and managed by a separate state machine. I am not sure what the correct approach is in this case, especially since the official documentation recommends using SIZEOF() for szSize. I will attach my code and a screenshot of the generated CSV showing the issue. Has anyone experienced something similar or could suggest the correct way to write a changing STRING to a CSV file using CAA.File.Write?

Hello, I am experiencing an intermittent OPC UA server issue on CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi SL 4.21.0.0. Runtime information: codesyscontrol 4.21.0.0 Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1 - 4Gb OPC UA Server: CmpOPCUAServer 3.5.22.x Server IP: 192.168.0.110 OPC UA endpoint: opc.tcp://192.168.0.110:4840 The main OPC UA client is Node-RED running on 192.168.0.111. This has an active subscription with some tags and also some write functions active. The system normally works correctly for a period, but at some time the OPC UA communication stopped. Node-RED started reconnecting continuously but could not reconnect. I also tried connecting using UaExpert, but UaExpert returned: BadTimeout At the same time, the PLC application itself was still running. Before restarting CODESYS, I captured the TCP connections. The OPC UA server was still listening: tcp 11 0 192.168.0.110:4840 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN However, there were many connections from the Node-RED client stuck in CLOSE_WAIT: 192.168.0.110:4840 192.168.0.111:45008 CLOSE_WAIT 192.168.0.110:4840 192.168.0.111:53678 CLOSE_WAIT 192.168.0.110:4840 192.168.0.111:44032 CLOSE_WAIT 192.168.0.110:4840 192.168.0.111:36612 CLOSE_WAIT 192.168.0.110:4840 192.168.0.111:45012 CLOSE_WAIT 192.168.0.110:4840 192.168.0.111:36592 CLOSE_WAIT ... Some of these sockets also had data remaining in Recv-Q, for example: Recv-Q = 61 Recv-Q = 121 There were roughly 15–20 OPC UA connections in CLOSE_WAIT. Restarting only the CODESYS runtime immediately restored OPC UA communication. After restart: LISTEN 0 10 192.168.0.110:4840 and both Node-RED and UaExpert can connect normally again. There are no obvious OPC UA errors during startup or in log. On RPI 2 I had a memory leak regarding OPCUA so I had to upgrade to RPI4. What can I do in this case? Thank you!

I have a project with several buttons and dialogs. Most of the dialogs are opened using the Open Dialog action of the Input configuration of the buttons. Some dialogs are openend using the FbOpenDialogExtended FB of the Visu Utils library and the FbOpenDialogExtended FB is called in the Execute ST-Code action. I am also using the FileOpenSave dialog from Visu Dialogs which requires an OnDialogClosed action to read out. I realized that the OnDialogClosed action which is meant for the FileOpenSave dialog also triggers if a dialog is closed, which was previously openend using the FbOpenDialogExtended FB. Is there a way to detect which dialog was closed last and specify to which dialogs the OnDialogClosed action reacts?

I would figure out, how to create a simple html webpage with 2 frames. One frame with buttons to select the plc. A second frame with hyperlink to the webvisu of the plc ("XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:8080/webvisu.htm"). Selecting other PLC Button has to change the hyperlink in 2. frame. Costs only some time to figure out :-) Or setup a raspberry Pi with small visualization. Set up a button for each plc and add one browser element. Each button writes the URL of the depending plc to the URL setting of the browserelement. Costs 55€ for runtime licence and a Raspberry Pi.
