Hello, I was wondering if there was further documentation on the SharedMemory library in CodeSys outside of the code example provided, or maybe a way to access the source code of the shared memory implementation. Thank you in advance for any advice. - Viktor

Hi, I tried posting in the discussion for the HTTP Client example but perhaps that is not monitored? I have been using http client successfully for approximately 12 months, however in recent weeks I have begun to get TCP_INIT_ERROR when attempting to communicate. The only resolution seems to be power cycling and then the connection begins to work again for a time. I am not aware of any changes to code or libraries between working ok and now. Cold reset does not resolve, only power cycle. It seems the error from NBS.TCP_Client is 6002 which I think is invalid_addr However the address is the same when working and not working?

Hallo, Ich bringe das CameraStream.project nicht zum Laufen. Ich sehe die Ursache darin, das das Beispielprogramm sehr sparsam mit Programm-Kommentaren umgeht (von der Hilfe gar nicht zu reden). Ich habe beide Varianten bei der zu ändernden Zielvariable getestet: //copy video.htm to the webserver; //the location of the webserver depends on the used Apache version as mentioned in online help hDirHtmlTest:=SysDirOpen( szDir:='/var/www', pDirInfo:= ADR(dirInfo), diMaxDirEntry:=iMaxDirEntry, szDirEntry:=szDirEntry, pResult:=ADR(iDirHtmlError)); IF (iDirHtmlError = 0) THEN SysDirClose(hDir:=hDirHtmlTest); SysFileCopy('/var/www/video.htm', '$$PlcLogic$$/Application/video.htm', ADR(dwCopySize)); ELSE .... als auch hDirHtmlTest:=SysDirOpen( szDir:='/var/www/html', pDirInfo:= ADR(dirInfo), diMaxDirEntry:=iMaxDirEntry, szDirEntry:=szDirEntry, pResult:=ADR(iDirHtmlError)); IF (iDirHtmlError = 0) THEN SysDirClose(hDir:=hDirHtmlTest); SysFileCopy('/var/www/html/video.htm', '$$PlcLogic$$/Application/video.htm', ADR(dwCopySize)); ELSE ....

I am currently working on a project using CODESYS and Control Win on a Windows computer. I've encountered an issue where I am unable to save a CSV file. I have followed the standard procedures and used the appropriate file handling functions, but the file is not being created or saved as expected. IF xStartTest THEN sFileName := '\logs.txt'; sFileName := CONCAT(gvl.g_sMainDirectory, sFileName); sFileNameCopy := '\CAAFileCopy.txt'; sFileNameCopy := CONCAT(gvl.g_sMainDirectory, sFileNameCopy); //eWriteState := FILE_OPEN_TRIGGER; xTestDone := FALSE; xError := FALSE; xStartTest := FALSE; END_IF VAR_GLOBAL g_sMainDirectory : STRING := 'C:\LogFiles'; // file path for CSV file END_VAR Despite this, the file does not appear in the specified directory, and no error messages are being generated. I've checked the directory permissions and ensured that the path is correct. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I just tried the example project with control WIN x64 and for me this is working correct. The only difference is that it is showing 'TabletPortrait' when i hold my smartphone in portrait mode and 'Monitor' when i hold my smartphone in landscape mode. This is because smartphone resolutions have increased i guess... You could check what resoution is detected and change accordingly in IsSmartphone method.

Post by adaml on ScriptEngine - execute "Export -> Bootproject and firmware (SD Card)" from python

Hi everybody, recently I was checking how many time consuming manual tasks I can perform with python scripts through ScriptEngine. I have in the project many devices and currently I export bootprojects for them by right clicking on Application, then go Export -> Bootproject and firmware (SD Card) and then point folder where files should be exported. It's fine if project has few devices, but I have some of them with over 30 devices and manual clicking like that is very time consuming. How can I do it with python script? So far I found "create_boot_application" method from Application object (taken by projects.primary.find('Application', True)) but it only generates .app and .crc file instead of full structure to store on SD card (FIRMWARE, USERDATA, SDCARD.INI, Version, Version.txt.sig). Should I use some method to control user interface? Best regards, Adam

To search for an exact phrase, put it in quotes. Example: "getting started docs"
To exclude a word or phrase, put a dash in front of it. Example: docs -help
To search on specific fields, use these field names instead of a general text search. You can group with AND or OR.
